AMEX will get a card to her tomorrow, so she's on the plane now and a lot happier.

I didn't feel it was quite the moment to suggest the oldest profession. Offering her cash to enable services has never worked for me anyway.

Cheers all. I'm sure a bank transfer would have done it if AMEX wasn't an option.

I would imagine it is issued from a local source near to her destination.
