First grass trim of the year. Mower started 2nd pull.
But that pull was not a starting lunge just the 2nd of the two gentle get-the-fuel-through pulls I do on that 1st season start.

It's an Itzy. Only careful treatment given before hibernation is to run with fuel tap off for a while to minimise fuel in the carb over winter.
Good effort!
Yesterday I plugged Rob O'Mow back in.....within 5 hours, he was off to do the first cat, and this morning I was happy to see he had docked fine, and indeed headed off later in the morning for another spin. Happy....or just relief hehe
I feel sorry for the cat.
hehe
We all like a well trimmed...
...lawn.

Waking up this morning feeling a tad disorientated, then remembering I was at home in my own bed after getting back from a trip of nighshifts offshore yesterday - bliss cloud9

Went to my first football match, at 46.

Really enjoyed it & the home team (in the town I am randomly in) won 3-1.

Great atmosphere.

Nice time.

Will go again.

Noticing that the wild garlic patch in the garden is showing well. That will be in salads and curries before long. Oink.

Today was one of those awful, listless days where I couldn't motivate myself to do anything.

So I had a word with myself, gave myself a metaphoric slap and decided to go for a run. It was only 6km, but it was up (and down) a mountain and I knocked 2 mins off my PB. Not bad for a can't be arsed day.

Oh and I took the dogs (I looked like Molly on the left!)

I hope that at one point you took time to slag off the ref?

It's a right of passage.

No but some 12 year old kids a few rows back were capable of some docker level swearing & some quite amusing turns of phrase.

Middlesbrough vs Norwich.

Interestingly the away fans stood for the whole match.
Apparently that’s a thing.

On closer enquiry, it turns out to be Supertato.

I detect the cold hand of veganism behind this.

We've a vegan staying with us this weekend.

We've bought vegan 'cheese', 'ice cream' and 'milk' for their stay.

According to Mrs B. my claim that vegans should not be allowed to use those words on their packaging is 'immature and ridiculous'.
