Update from Castle Donington

A recycling box has recently blown and landed in the middle of the service road to our cul-de-sac., I nipped out to pop it out the way behind our tall gate.

More to follow!

Powers gone here in Canonbie, Dumfries and Galloway.
But the Roger Clark Rally has been going past to keep us entertained.

Still no power, 2 fires and Aga keeping us warm and fed

Surely when the weather forecasts etc are nailed on like they are at present , if you’re stupid enough to get yourself in a situation where people are meant to come and save your sorry ass ??

Not that you're wrong, but that would have gone down well with the recent paddleboarders families.
It's rained for 3 days solid or something, let's go paddle boarding over a weir, it'll be ok.
