Oh, man! But, hey, she was more comfortable after the second incorrect diagnosis. That's something.
Do you know what returning to the hospital saying 'we want an MRI scan because we've been here three times, seen three different doctors, and had three different diagnosisisis so far', does? The head quack of the hospital is summoned, for a 40 minute sit down smiley chat and everything is explained to you in tiny detail. That's what it does.

They left here & went to see friends in Germany. On a train with them a week after the accident, she was asked by the stranger sitting opposite what she'd done. He asked her to visit him the next day with the X-Rays. He was a foot specialist & like your wife, aged been completely given the wrong advice!

Bill Gates has $51 billion.
He couldn't stop at $50 billion?
That extra $1 billion is just vulgar.
I know you're just jesting Dicky but I'd actually say that given his fairly extensive philanthropy and plans to give 95% of his wealth to his charity foundation I reckon the more money Bill Gates makes the better He couldn't stop at $50 billion?

Good way of looking at it. Does he have huge amounts of security? He and his family must be prime kidnap targets. Funny thing security. When I worked in Paddington I went walkabout at lunchtime. Things I saw, I tell ya. On different occasions, I saw the four armed Policemen - two in front, two behind - who were part of the 24 hour a day security at the Blair residence in Connaught Square, Jade Goody near Selfridges with a huge bodyguard and Douglas Hurd on his todd with just his briefcase. Is security more to do with fear, common sense or vanity?

It's not same variety of cluelessness, but I asked at the Information Desk in Tesco if they had any cloves as I had been unable to find any. The girl looked at me blankly and pointed to the adjacent F&F stand.DickyC said:

I don't know to be fair... he always comes across as a fairly unassuming guy, in fact I believe up until the late 90s he was still flying on regular passenger jets so I don't think he buys into the "mega wealthy" culture too deeply but I'd have thought he'd have take some measures to protect his family if nothing else.Funny thing security. As a young "geek" growing up it was the done thing to slag off/mock Bill G and Microsoft but with the benefits of age and something that approximates wisdom these days I think he's just a decent guy who also happens to be a hard-nosed, very successful businessman

Leave it off.
I'd had the Audi for over a year before I realised it should have had an undertray.
On reflection, I suppose it might be more important on a petrol engined car than a diesel.
Most of them are just there for a slight aero benefit - you generally get less drag and some cars might see an ever-so-slight loss of stability at really high speeds but on anything mundane? no real difference IMO. Good for keeping salt and crap off the lower engine bay components though I'd had the Audi for over a year before I realised it should have had an undertray.
