Ooohhhhh that looks a bit nice!! Should have started a cake making venture alongside the Trivton Towing Services venture, then when you have spare time it would be put to good use!! yes
Good idea, but how do you think folk would take to having their Special Yule Tide Cake delivered on a recovery truck?

And, of course, as business improves and we move into rail, so cake deliveries will take on a whole new more modern approach. Convenience is the watchword. Speed and convenience. Two words; two of the watchwords are speed and convenience. I see a variation on this:

Did you see the amount of ingredients arriving just before the latest batch of cakes was collected?

Cakes for the 21st Century.

My brother had a model railway set that had one of those mailbag things. I had a pet hamster that used to chase the train around the track too.Fascinating to watch, would be a bit disturbing to see it in full scale though. It would put the hamster at around twenty feet long.

Probably nearer thirty feet come to think of it. It would have been an enormous bugger anyhow, not the sort of thing you'd want to have chasing you.

Anyway, my current challenge is after escaping the clutches of Barbara Windsor I landed on the Community Chest. The card I turned over told me to Advance to The Winchester Club where I landed on Dave the landlord. Suggestions gratefully received. I could bid misère, draw stumps and walk purposefully towards the croquet lawn I suppose.

Nah I think you're safe with Dave, he's a bit grumpy, but he's not tight with the liquid refreshments, just be aware if Arfur, comes in and tries to sell you ANYTHING though, it's probably not Kosher!!

The 53rd anniversary of Battert using the main staircase as a dry ski slope. This was shortly before the 83rd Earl retreated to Monaco.

He did that when he was in his forties? Good Lord, the man doesn't look a day over eighty. I believe some of the original marks are still visible on the wainscoting.

Monaco?

A small island that floated into France harbour in the 1930s and decided to stay on.

I understand they hold a 3 legged race annually, the Monaco GP they named it.

Real anniversary revealed tomorrow.

The 83rd Earl retreated there to fritter away his fortune and sort of made over the house, grounds, farm, airfield and associated buildings to us. Well, to Battert. For him to look after. Just in case he ever needed to liquidate his assets to pay gambling debts, bar tab and whatnot.

Gambling debts? So the whole future of TT could rely upon whether or not West Ham win the Premier League?

I believe it may be worse than you think, I believe it is an accumulator bet involving Portsmouth and Southampton in penalty shootout to win both the premier league and the FA cup!!!
Three legged race? I thought that was something to do with the Isle of man!?!? confused

I know he received some disappointing news over his 5000 / 1 shot on Wayne Rooney scoring from 59 yards out. It was officially measured at 58.45 yards. Bugger.

He shouldn't have put so much on England versus the Trivford-in-the-Vale Under 14s Second Eleven.
