Anyone who drives a pickup truck for any reason other than agricultural or commercial you look like a knob (my mates just got one, works in IT, looks like a knob driving it)
also
Matte wraps/paint on cars always looks crap
There were some distinct advantages to having a double cab pickup for a company car instead of an SUV (especially if it can carry over a tonne). But yeah the above applies also

I’m sticking with mine as it’s handy for carting stuff about and I don’t have to worry about getting chainsaw oil on a boot carpet. I’m not using it for work or farming though.
Assiduously keeping an up to date service history of
your car makes zilch difference to the trade-in price from main dealers.
You'll get the book price, nothing more.
This doesn't apply to Classic Cars, which usually get sold to other enthusiasts
who will appreciate such devotion to regular maintenance.

Garages will dump all the history anyway, as it "breaches GDPR"
I bought a car from a dealer fairly recently and they just black-marked over the names and addresses. I'm pleased that they didn't throw £20,000 of bills away, I see the history very much as part of the car, and that's much of the reason that I bought that particular example.Sebring440 said:

If you don't know what you are talking about don't pretend as if you do, makes you look like an idiot.
how is that an unpopular opinionThat's correct, there are a few too many who are either plain wrong in what they or have closed minds and put down others who have a different or more learned view.

cars and car sales tell anyone who will listen that a service
history is very desirous when selling a car.

Money is actually a good thing, despite the UK tendency to downplay it.
I don't mean flaunting it in a 'Loadsamoney' type way though.
But It's really only those that don't have any that whine & complain, but not many of them stop to ask themselves why, or try to improve it.
So your unpopular opinion is that being wealthy is better than being poor?I don't mean flaunting it in a 'Loadsamoney' type way though.
