200m inland from the sea on the North Wales coast. Windiest I've ever experienced here. We've been losing a tile or two with every strong gust for the last hour...

Major gusts and chilly in southern Hampshire, has been for the past few hours intermittently. Wet rather than snowy. Believe it used to be called winter.

Chez Vegas weather report:

No snow at 3 when I went for a pee but quite a covering now and still falling. Looks slushy though.

Any sign of Colin?

Maldives?

Absolutely nothing here in NE Suffolk. A regular 24 hours. I hope all PHers in the affected area are safe.

Bit of a blustery night on the Bucks/Oxon border. Nothing ground breaking but sounded fairly lively. Lots of rain.
Have woken to heavy falling snow, but nothing settling as the ground is running with water.

Hope all up t’ North are safe and well, sounded pretty horrific.

Just went outside in MK. Not much wind, not that cold. Certainly no fking snow.

Sucks living here at times.
Spent Monday skiing in MK. Plenty of snow if you know where to look, not cheap though wink

[edit] Looking out the window, it is coming down quite heavily now... clap

Very wet sleet in Leicester, no chance of it settling on soggy ground.

So bets on tomorrows news then...Group of morons rescued from a mountain after going on a hike...Muppet pulled from the sea after looking at the waves...?
Surely when the weather forecasts etc are nailed on like they are at present , if you’re stupid enough to get yourself in a situation where people are meant to come and save your sorry ass ??
Why should they ??
Self inflicted… stay where you are, if you perish so fking what

Very windy on the south coast since about 4am. Woke me up with the house rattling and shaking. Unusual to have such a strong northerly wind here!

Praying my very small fence thats rotting at the posts has gave way. Next door doesn't fancy a new one. She loves that fence.. full story commence! (Truth is short and she likes to be nosy) So we left it.. dont want to upset the new neighbours etc. Shes upset I have a 2m run of bamboo as she can't see into our patio doors now from her garden hut to make sure everything is OK... in her words haha. Please blow over. Please

Minimal snow in NE Aberdeenshire this morning, just a light smattering of the powdery stuff.

Fence didn't survive the night though so I guess it wasn't as sturdy as I thoughtsmash

West Lancashire - 10 miles inland (the place is flat as a pancake). Was pretty windy when i went to bed at around 1.30 but no worse than I think we’ve experienced in the past.

Not as strong this morning. A glance out of the window tells me the cover head been pulled off the BBQ and daughter’s free standing basketball hoop has blown over.

Dry on the ground and zero snow. 3.3 degrees outside.
