I agree.

I just wouldn't have any respect for anyone like that.

PHers talk about snakes with tits etc but maybe the signs were there in the early days of their character.

My ex was fit, Chinese and a nurse. I wanted to settle down with someone and go steady and there were numerous little signs that made me walk away.

You seem to only stay with any girl for 2 weeks, so you wait one week hehe

2nd date. A week would be far too long as you say. Although obviously this time the second date is a week away. Oh well.

Really consider the others these days - Bumble is a good one and seems to fit between Tinder and Hinge or seriousness levels.

I tried Hinge once and the number of women in my area you could count on 1 hand

Yep - I get that, it’s still growing and seems very big city focused. Still consider Bumble - the fact they have to contact you first saves a lot of time.

Back in 92’ I remember when I once dated a lady and it was going quite well. Midway through the date I began to feel unwell as we had ate so much pakora. I couldn’t hold it in and I loudly farted much to the amusement of everyone else there. Needless to say the little princess was embarrassed and ran out the establishment. That was the last I heard from her. What a little princess she was looking back.

I did my first real loud fart
Coulda turned into a messy poo
Wow, I'd had too much pakora
Was the summer of '92

Me and a girl on a date
Had a meal and it's going well
Till I let out that noisy parp
And she left, she ran like hell

Oh, when I look back now
That date was at a lovely venue
I fked up, I really should have
Picked something different from the menu
That was the worst date of my life

Agreed.

I saw it as laying lobster pots vs going fishing.

Signed up to Bumble as well now.
It looks a lot like Tinder in terms of the process,so many dating sites are owned by the same company these days.
Anyway there are a lot more locals which is good, assuming they are active and not old profiles.
Had a few likes and 1 match from quite a hotty ,she hasn't messaged me but has extended the time. She has 41 hours now lol

I think Bumble was set up very much with thinking what the girls wanted from a site. The co-founder has just become a billionaire from it -

If someone has extended the time that’s usually a good thing for me, it means they’re busy and don’t want to just say “Hi”.

The main problem with Bumble is most women dont/wont message first

They know what they’re signing up to though and IMO the ones not sending a quick msg first on Bumble would have been the ones who wouldn’t reply to my msg on Tinder - so overall saves time.

How do you know ? Just because they're not messaging you doesn't mean they aren't messaging others

Yes, they do. Few friends have had success with it.

Well the ones on bumble do, it’s the platform USP!

If they didn’t they’d find it a quiet app hehe

I met plenty on bumble, was my preferred app smile

I’ve just done a quick check. Since going back on them my current standings are -

Tinder
180 matches and 373 ‘likes’ that I haven’t swiped on.

Hinge
90 matches and 50+ likes.

Bumble
40 matches and 50+ likes.

So in theory Tinder should get you the most likes - but from experience it’s always between Bumble and Hinge for anything serious. Tinder is good if you’ve got a quiet weekend coming up.
