And if that isn't enough for you, here's the full advert so you can enjoy all the other rooms....

You do have to question what was the logic behind that.

There can't be a need for so many sockets ever and between them and the lights the house looks awful.

You'd think with an asking price of £1.3m they'd have sorted that mess out before trying to sell. The rooms look horrendous (the pic in this thread isn't the only one with 'socket-pox'...)!

Saw that posted on Facebook. Tons of thickos commenting asking why anyone would have a house like that without considering that it was probably just used as business premises. I know you'd probably present the power access differently if you were doing it properly, but that's clearly what it was.

Would that be allowed in an private housing estate?

There's power points all over the entire house. That couldn't be much fun for the neighbours if the house had that level of traffic coming to the house to work.

To be fair there are various newspaper who said they contacted the estate agents who said they had no explanation, only that the previous owners asked for them

Depends what the business was - could be just a few people and a lot of servers e.g. digital artists and servers doing rendering

doesn't really matter whether it was legal, that's what it was. Could have been a boiler room or scam centre.

What kind of business needs so many low-level spotlights, particularly the ones behind your knees by the loo?

IIRC Someone on the "property nightmares" thread rang the agent. It's not business premises.

Blimey!! I only thought it was one room (which might have stuck with the 'home business' explanation) But having looked at the whole advert I can only assume:

Light fitting and electrical fittings show room.

Bonkers

I did not know that. Weirdest thing I’ve seen since I found out that the speed of light was almost exactly a foot per nanosecond. Someone is toying with us...
