Are the materials as good as they look? The brown leather tongue looks great.

Yep. Super soft leather (including lining and tongue), and proper buttery suede. Really nicely made.

I got a pair of Heritage Made in Portugal last week, and whilst not up there with the MII, even those are a gorgeous trainer and much nicer than the regular made in the far east stuff.
