Love this. Especially the quote.

"I am a 31-year-old mum with five kids, I ain't no criminal."

If they want to check what people are buying, don't have self service checkouts.

One suspects there might be two sides to this story and that perhaps there may have been reason to be suspicious....call me cynical!

I was trying to see if the store found anything not paid for. But no it appears to they paid for all their shopping.

Indeed but I’ve never ever seen supermarket employees do what this lady accused them of, so no doubt embellished for the press. Just lacking a sad photo of Chardonnay-Tanisha next to the receipt laugh

Unfortunately they have that mouth breathing moron of a MD, I used to quite like a spoons breakfast every now and then and did occasionally eat there at other times but I absolutely refuse to give him a penny more, his moronic views on brexit and his insistence on promoting it in every pub have royally pissed me off
I believe some of the more enthusiastic Brexit related frothers are boycotting them, which is nice. Nicer armosphere without them.

Getting your Sunday Lunch on Just Eat from Toby Carvery has to be a bit council, no?

Can't be a very cost effective way to do a roast dinner at home

Have we seen any 'lost all my kids' Christmas presents when the house flooded' GoFundMe claims yet?

To prove that even wealthier people can be council:
https://www.theguardian.com/business/2019/nov/08/h...

"Browne said the grotto visit tradition he had built with his wife, Helen, and three other children – Oliver, 13, Jacob, eight, and Matilda, five – had been ruined by Harrods’ greed"

Some people have a warped sense of entitlement.
Would be amusing to see Oliver, Jacob and Matilda doing compo faces in the Mail.

C’mon guys, this person is someone’s mother/daughter/wife. ‘A bit council’ is fine when it’s just mentioning text, but commenting on identifiable individuals is pretty close to online bullying.

You mean the founder, Tim Martin, worth several hundred million. That mouth breathing moron?
That's what I thought too.
