Good morrow fellow Trivialities everywhere
Another multiple interrupted night's sleep, she's really struggling with it at the moment.
Love the reminder thanks Bomma!
Let's see what today brings.
Not good to hear, Bobbers. Another multiple interrupted night's sleep, she's really struggling with it at the moment.

Congratulations, slopes!

Good morning everyone.
Argh the north circular! I’m glad those days are far away now.
I’ve just used my glucose/blood tester and all is spot on this morning before eating. Happy with that.
Some more hedge removal is on the cards first thing which ends up with a run down to the local dump with me scattering leaves and branches en route as they fly out the back of my trailer!
Have a good day whatever you all are doing.
Thanks bomma
Fout.

Ithangyew all, hope everyone who is suffering right now suffers less and pdq.
To all those with various ailments, i hope you all get better soon and just leave the northwest quadrant of the airfield alone yeah? If you see anything emitting a strange green smoke/mist, best to just go back to poking the Brigadier with a pool cue to see if you can make the old boy Harumph

I've concocted a traybake with teriyaki chicken chunks, courgette, red onion, green pepper, celery and lightly spiced wedges for tea!!
Our butchers in Pembroke do some rather fine chicken thighs in lemon and pepper, that we have quite regularly in a trayback, with exactly the same veg. Yum.pequod said:

Marvellous! I always found winding down by way of food preparation was ver, ver, therapeutic back in the day, aided and abetted by a glug of vin rouge within the dish and young pequod, and no mistake. There were always exception tho...
One knows, one's limits!
I also came back with a cabbages and condoms restaurant t-shirt
My first car shut the North Circular for a day plus, just north of Edmonton back in the late 70's. It was a Fiat 850 I'd bought for a tenner and was busy welding up, fixing. Last thing left was a leak on the water pump/radiator.
Dad's car wouldn't start (Skoda Estelle 110) so he stole my car to get to work in Walthemstow. It overheated, he kept going, which melted the plastic fuel pipe... As it was rear engined he didn't notice until many, many people tried stopping him, at which point he noticed the flames, jumped out and the car burnt out itself and the inside lane...
They had to destroy the road to get the remains out the many layers of melted tarmac apparently, then resurface...

Scaffolding still needs to be broken down, you just can’t rely on these blokes.
In laws staying tonight as off to NCL early tomorrow heading for Tenerife. House will need sprucing up, packing has already been completed.
I got told they leave the scaffolding there as 'storage' until it's needed for another jobIn laws staying tonight as off to NCL early tomorrow heading for Tenerife. House will need sprucing up, packing has already been completed.

Well, I’m grateful I got home before reading that, Byker!
1 hour and 15 minutes to travel five miles by motah. 32 minutes door to door by foot and public transport in the middle of the rush hour.
Can't say what it's like now, but it used to be a regularly used road by us. My Dad worked for Walthem Forest council, so everything he knew where to get stuff was all Leyton, Walthemstow etc. Then my Big sis bought a flat next road over to the Orient ground...
A little trivia, it first opened in 1910, was completed in 1930 and is 25.7 miles long
Hanger Lane often features as the most congested junction in London

That Norf Circular can indeed be a cruel mistress:https://youtu.be/0-qrgu39kVA?si=ePhrzkeS_MMyuU8J
Ask any ULEZ ANPR van driver...
Well, thanks for such a happy Tuesday Snoopy, Bomma!
All is going well so far here oop norf.
A reasonable series of sleeps, culminating in an almost horizontal one for over an hour, as I had slipped down the board supporting my pillows at 45°, but remained quite comfortable.
No running, no sums and no work for this old git today, but the Elbow Test was negative and the grey drizzle has ceased, so I intend to get Up! & Atom and attempt a bit of a walk. Not far, probably just to there and back, which is a bit further than previous forays. A policy of incremental improvenents, eventually leading to advancements by leaps and bounds, probably mostly in my imagination.
I shall definitely NOT be passengering in Carys Yaris again in the near future, that was far too traumatic and caused a day of suffering I didn't need.
Bobbers, I hope your day is not too fraught with unneccesary problems, there does seem to be a need for a review of inspection procedures at wemakeplanebits.com to validate first-offs prior to producing large batches of scrap or non-compliant components necessitating lots of reworking or expensive concessions.
Is there a shortage of qualified inspectors?
There seems to be to much shutting the stable door after all the horses have bolted!
Good luck!
And have a gnice day, yawl!
