There are still websites like that? I noticed it for about a week after the change but everyone seems to be onboard now.

Is quite eye-opening just how many companies have access to your viewing habits- I'd have thought twenty, max, but even on PH the list is enormous!

An annoying or even a worrying trend that I've noticed recently. Dog owners who walk their dogs next to busy public roads without attaching leads to the dogs with which to keep said dogs under control.

The person sitting behind me making big wet smacking sounds with every mouthful of food shoveled down his trap. Acceptable in kids too young to be beaten properly, inconceivable in a man in his 40s. And worse for me, no real way of politely asking him to stop making sex noises every time he eats.

Gah.

Gah.
I absolutely detest eating noises. I had a flatmate who didn't close his mouth when he chewed and it was horrible. I had to put the TV on when we were eating as it sounded so awful.

It really really %$&*s me and seemingly most decent people right off. I think it's the glazed look the offenders all seem to wear when they do it, like someone has just piped their brain out via a tube up the backside. You'll be pleased to know that it has stopped now.

That's true actually. Those little tabs are pretty reliable on most fresh foods these days, but not on bacon. I always have to knife the thing open.

It would appear not, only some. However Yellowjack appears annoyed by all dog owners, I was wondering what they'd all done to upset him.

I don't even try any more I just stick a knife in the top and run it round the edge.

On the flip side I always find the cartons that chopped tomatos com in easy to open.

Very true, daily I also get wound up by the dog meat trays being the same!

My one for today, Microsoft and Apple not acknowledging anywhere outside of the US exists. Typing texts and emails, constantly being corrected to take U's out of words, and change S's to Z's. How hard can it be for them to select a default language zone before they ship their iphone to Blighty?

I'm losing my sense of humor, organize your st!

Or worse still, the satisfying noise of a successful pull on a packet seal only to find it has merely delaminated and the contents are still imprisoned.

Let's keep this thread as a 'safe space' from politics though, eh? beer
