Nice shoes ruined by the LV initials!!

Wouldn't you feel a right tt wearing them with that on the front?
Can't see any difference between that and the buckles/metal across the front of Gucci loafers.

Yellow ones, for a very very good price.

May get the pink ones for my missus.

The Timberlands actually managed to look as good with a business suit as they did with cargo trousers.

Do I detect sarcasm?

And if so - why? Did my choice of footwear offend you in some way? Or are you with the fashion police?

I quite like those, and would use them for the same purpose as you.

safety boots and a suit. really? who said it looked good without any trace of sarcasm or a smirk?

Have you seen the attached picture? Nothing about them says 'boots' or 'safety', just a pair of black leather shoes.

Different case with the new ones, obviously.

Cemented construction are never acceptable with a suit.

You may feel differently but the fact remains they are built for a different purpose entirely.

From a 5 ft. distance (eye level) - yes. I guess it just looks a bit better in real life.

Granted, it was mostly tested at trade shows, not social events or Fortune 500 club meets.

In any case, I've worked with some very fashion-aware colleagues over the years of ownership, and got plenty of constructive criticism. None of it was related to these puppies, if anything they attracted the occasional compliment (mostly in Asia).

Don't get me wrong, I'm not leading the 'safety boot liberation front' or promoting a new trend of suits and safety boots. I'm just saying this one specific model was very versatile.

I know we have differing tastes on this thread, but Jesus Christ laugh I don't know if I could take someone seriously if they were wearing those Timberlands with a suit!

they look like safety boots in that pic. asians aren't exactly known for taking the piss now are they?

if you made them last 5 years i'd say you don't do much actual work in them either smile

Nothing wrong with the shoe itself, but having the Louis Vuitton initials is a bit cringeworthy, as would having Gucci blasted across them.

This is fine...

This is simply trying to let everyone know you have bought some Guccis, which is a bit sad...

When I was in hospital a couple of years ago I noticed some of the nurses wearing them, they said they really comfortable for hours on your feet.

Even saw a consultant wearing them whilst in his scrubs.
