I want to buy another car, but there's no more space in my 1400 sqft garage at home. I don't want to sell any of the current cars.

Who buys a house with just one garage? The embarrassment. Too late I’ve quoted, but no shame in deleting your post.

That’s because there is a second garage, but that’s full too.

Would I be correct in saying that is a generic shoe tree and not a lasted one? Not much sympathy if it’s the former, tbh.
You need one crafted by the estate handyman from a tree felled in the grounds. Lasts forever.

The carpenter was retired off, didn’t replace as you have to make a show re whole ‘cost of living crisis’ nonsense.

We’re all in it together and all that tosh.

We went to my friend's house for a shindig in his 9 story tower last night and spoke through a load of #surreyissues, all of which belong here. The best was the host:

I was up here jet washing my crenellations only a couple of weeks ago and now look at the state of them.

Retired off. Some sort of euphemism, one presumes, for sacking the oaf?

Don't ask and don't dredge the moat for a couple of years either.

It is humid as well as hot here on the French Riviera which has led to an unseemly amount of condensation forming on my glass of Sancerre.

The resultant drip falling from the base of the glass on to my belly has rather spoiled my Jude Law/open linen shirt fantasy.

Takes more than couple of years in the moat before it’s safe. Anyway was the tenanted pig farmer busy, and if so best to consider retiring off the estate manager too. These are basic mistakes by the help.

The staff accommodation seems very close to the house or is this the back side?

All the stuff from my house move is not unpacked yet, so I’m having to use the Le Creuset casserole dish on top of the hob as a frying pan.

The temperature is dropping.

My windows are that efficient that the outside has dropped below the dew point and misted over. My breakfast view is a little cloudy.

I’m all toasty though!

Yesterday I filled the tank on my Range Rover & used my Shell reward.
I have another £3.20 reward to use but am unsure if I will need to fill up again before it expires.
I have filled from empty for do long now it messes with my OCD to top up part way.
