I stupidly succumbed to a recruiter's pushy attempts to schedule an interview with a competitor, I attended one call and received an offer for a 30% increased base salary and better benefits. Problem is, I am quite happy where I am, the level of responsibility is great and the work/life balance is decent. WWYD?

You have answered your own question, unless you are totally money driven.Monkeylegend said:

You have answered your own question, unless you are totally money driven. They will certainly expect their pound of flesh if they are paying that much extra, and with that comes pressure and expectations.
Of all people you should know that based on your other thread

First of all I am a *she*, and the new job is exactly the same job I am doing now, but for a direct competitor. To put it into context, it’s not +30% of minimum salary, it’s on a 6 figure salary which ends up being a considerable amount! The job itself is really stressful and that applies to every company in the sector; that’s why it’s well paid. There is also no concern of being made redundant, in fact, companies are recruiting for over a year to find people with my skill set and experience. The demand for our services has been through the roof the last few years.
If I stay in the same job, the potential to get this money will possibly arise in +3 years’ time unless I go and ask them to match the other offer 😅
Enough off topic though!!

they don't have their own keys or whatI live in Cambodia. (not a first world problem but it is a "developing nation", ergo third world. But I digress)
Went to exchange a bag of empty Winston fag packets from the shop round the corner and he tried to short me. It used to be two empty packets for one free full packet now it is three empty for one! (they cost 75c USD usually).
Should I suck it up or demand what I am owed?
I feel hard done by but one should stick up for their rights. Maybe I will glue my hand to his clapped out delivery scooter.

The pool man has turned down the air handling equipment so the air in the pool room is slightly cooler than the water now and it feels chilly when I get out.
I'm going to have to go all the way to the grubby plant room and turn it back up or wait a month until he's back so he can do it.
Bloody pain in the arse.

the likelihood of a handgun getting involved in cambodia means personally i would leave itWent to exchange a bag of empty Winston fag packets from the shop round the corner and he tried to short me.
