Top floor above bottom floor, both floors in numerical order. Perfect.

Unless i'm missing something these are just everyday, normal and unavoidable building features. Looks like someone's blurred something out with a computer.
If you look around any old building you'll see the same. It's like inspecting me for scars, you'll find a few minor ones and they all have a story, but I didn't start out life with them.

I think it's the two dark columns - compare each row, it looks like the brickie couldn't decide on whether to mirror or copy.

The pattern left to right is a course out.

The one on the left is fine, it's the one on the right that's out.

The one on the right is fine... 2 courses darker top and bottom, although that's still wrong. The left is 3 and 1, which is even wrongerer

That's a normal everyday brick wall from a not very normal view and actually nothing wrong with it.
Nothing wrong as such but a good bricklayer would have lined up the perps. It would annoy me!
The perps will only be lined up for the height of the scaffold lift, or more likely the length of the brickies spirit level!
No it isn't at all. WTF puts their head against a brick house wall and looks up to check?
Bricklaying is not a precise artform and the lining up of perps is not a thing anyone takes notice of or is given any consideration to when a wall goes up. It's only when you view it like that it looks wrong to the uninitiated.
A wall is put up by building up a plumb corner at either end then infilling in between with a horizontal stringline.
The bricks are placed and tapped up until the joint looks something like 10mm - to the eye.
If you were to try and line every one up precisely you'd last a morning on a building site.

If you put a spirit level on a decent house wall or a laser along the ridge you'll see they're all over the place, but from the front to the naked eye they look fine.
No. That is just a shambles and I would not employ a bricklayer who produced this. All you have to do is look down and keep in line. Even scaffolding does not prevent someone doing that. I have seen bricklayers work on a wall with one at each end 20 or more yards apart working inwards. When they met in the middle the last brick dropped in perfectly. THAT is how you lay bricks.

The problem arises because the centre (gable) section is 15.5 stretchers wide; for that pattern to succeed, it needs to be an even number of bricks wide (let's say 16) and then the flemish bond attempted would work out fine.

Edited for further accuracy.

Oops, I see it now.
I wonder if its Photoshopped, what's that blurred out bit all about?
