Yes, it's an air pistol.
Lizzy Duke watch...Biro tattoo and a kids toy ....ace
Did "Lizzy Duke" ever sell ISO certified automatic Seiko diver's watches?

The watch Baz is wearing there is about as far as it's possible to get from "Lizzy Duke" tat.

Don't let that get in the way though.

If anyone wanted to see a photo of the dead cat, they could seek it out, but not everyone would actually want to

see it and you removed that choice by posting the pic.

Why DID you post it anyway?  Just for the lulz?
I can't remember the context, but there was a reason.

In any case, the poster providing the link didn't say "warning, there's a picture of a dead cat in this article", so at least I removed the surprise.

For the lulz? Is that how you really talk?

Quite happy to stick with the jailhouse tat & gun on the cringe front, tbh.

I'd like to add 'pedantry' to the list of cringeworthy things.

The moderation on here has just made me cringe.

I've just been banned from NP&E for a month for arguing, but I haven't argued with anyone at all. Only posted on the snap election thread, the Jeremy Corbyn thread and the May Vs Corbyn on telly thread today and at no point have I clashed with anyone, let alone been incredibly rude or sworn.

You get the repetitive wind up merchants in there saying the same stuff to provoke a reaction everyday (like yipper and the lefties) and we've all seen how Ginetta G15 Girl goes on the attack with personal insults and swearing when it suits her, but nothing is done about it.

What a joke.
Someone posted a link once to a Daily Mail story, which was about some cat that got run over. I then posted on that thread and included a picture of the flattened cat (taken from said Daily Mail article). The result? A permanent ban. That was overturned once they realised how fking stupid it was, though to save face I was still banned for a week. Just people on a power trip, and as you say there are others which seem immune to action.
I wasn't going to post again on this site but just spotted this and totally agree.
In the last year or two the moderation has totally gone to cock, the same users such as rsscott, alpine stars etc seem to get away with anything, yet others seem to get banned left, right and centre. One thing I did notice when I was banned was the wording in the email matched one of these posters words.
Maybe one of them is a mod? Quite sad if true.

I got banned from the Liverpool thread for quoting a picture that a spurs fan had already posted that the mods took exception to. I told them I didn't post the bloody thing but it didn't make any difference and the spurs fan wasn't sanctioned at all.

It's pathetic.
So 2 bans in 4 months, or are you using another log in after the footie ban?

Either way you are doing well. Don't worry it's all those others wink
I was permanently banned from the LFC thread.
And I've got a months ban from NP&E.

Never received a full PH ban so no need to resort to rejoining under a pseudonym.

Mums on Facebook

Not "new" mums sharing photos of their babies and being very excited.

I mean mums like my mum, in their late 50s/early 60s who have joined Facebook in the last few years but still don't really understand it, but clearly have it set to notify them every time their child is mentioned on Facebook (a feature I swiftly disabled on my Mum's facebook profile, at her request) and therefore comment on everything.

Also cringe - the inevitable consequence of my post will be that someone will quote it and make some reference to how much they despise Facebook and anyone who uses it because its so very stupid/vain/vacuous etc.

So the Mail link contained a photo of the dead cat and the OP didn’t post a warning to that effect, and I’m going to assume you’re socially aware enough to know that some people are going to find such an image distressing, and wouldn’t want to view it.

As I said, you then removed that choice and posted the photo.

Engage in whatever mental gymnastics you like in order to justify it, but ultimately, it was a dick move, and that’s why you were banned.

So what happens if they see a real dead one in the street?
Do we need to cart them off for counseling?

You're not wrong. Another thread (which I started) was seeking methods of keeping cats out of my garden, or specifically to stop them from stting on my lawn. After we (jokingly) discussed using anti-freeze, kidnapping them, electrocuting them etc, several people were banned and in the website feedback some of these nutters were branding us all criminals.

In case anyone was interested, and thanks to the good people of PH, I no longer have cats stting in my gardens.

Really? You read my post above and that's your answer? You didn't understand my point at all or indeed the point I was responding to?

But people might be 'distressed' at seeing a flattened cat in the road. Don't we need to consider their feelings?
