Thunderstorm here. Bloody loud thunder, must be close to the house! Hopefully it clears the air. The humidity has been terrible the past few days.

ETA: Just had biblical rain, and a good light/sound show. I reckon there will definitely be some localised flooding.

Hot and humid in Stratford upon Avon...
Really should have got around to setting up a webcam at home (Worcester) to see what's going on over there... (put that on the to do list, I've got one lying around)

Just started to rain here in Bristol, some rumbles but nothing to shout about yet, I can see on the cams that it is raining harder at home. East side of Bristol

East Berks, nowt but looking over towards Reading they are being hammered, radar looks very bright that way too.

Pot luck I reckon if you happen to be in the path of one. Looks like there is a stream of stormes crossing in a North Westerly direction, radar shows that stream being about 20 miles to the West of us here currently.

But the air is so thick I think anything could still happen.

BBC has forecast lightning storms all day here on the edge of the forest. We've had a couple of light showers. Met office has been slightly more accurate, but certainly not the amount of rain and storms forecast.

Loads of thunder all round me (Princes Risborough- between Aylesbury and Wycombe)

Towards Aylesbury seems to be getting rain - can see as half way up Whiteleaf hill (elevation 129m)

Feels like rain thunder lightening on way

This cloud looks ominous

Absolutely lashing it down here (West Worcs), heard it rolling in from the east for the last hour. Had a period of about 20 minutes that was constant lightning, thunder and utterly torrential rain.

Currently a lot, and I mean a LOT of sheet lightning.

No idea where the cat is.

Weather for the last week has been horrible, the air thick, muggy, sticky and electric. Chatting to some of the older farmers in the pub earlier, and none of them have seen weather like this in may/june. These are end of summer storms. Not late spring, early summer storms.

Looks like m5 around Gloucester is getting a good show currently seems too be tracking to the east so hopefully we get too see some action in south Wales shortly. So far been extremely disappointing apart from a period of heavy rain around 3.30.

The high pressure system anchored over Scandinavia starts to wonder a bit now, mostly ending the storms the time being. It still stays close, so plenty of good weather still.
