Unless i'm missing something these are just everyday, normal and unavoidable building features. Looks like someone's blurred something out with a computer.
If you look around any old building you'll see the same. It's like inspecting me for scars, you'll find a few minor ones and they all have a story, but I didn't start out life with them.
The pattern doesnt line up side to side
Oops, I see it now.
I wonder if its Photoshopped, what's that blurred out bit all about?
No photoshopping apart from cropping smile

No. That is just a shambles and I would not employ a bricklayer who produced this. All you have to do is look down and keep in line. Even scaffolding does not prevent someone doing that. I have seen bricklayers work on a wall with one at each end 20 or more yards apart working inwards. When they met in the middle the last brick dropped in perfectly. THAT is how you lay bricks.
I'm having some pointing done this week and I'd never noticed this until the stonemeson pointed it out after he had ground out the joints on one corner:

Doesn't like wonky microwave knob, but doesn't give a fig that pop bottles aren't faced up.

Ah - Bricklaying - we could have a thread for that subject alone yes

As stated before, it isn't a precise art. The fact that clay bricks vary so much in size means it can't be

That's why the skill resides in making the end result appear uniform.

I’m fairly sure some of these have been put back in the wrong place.

This is outside our office and I’m now going to have to drive past it every day frown
