My stoicism is taking a pounding...

Heavy frost in East Sussex at 07:30 - including last evenings rain frozen to the car. Get to the office and then onwards to the station for an appt in t'city and it's pouring down again, and cold too.

Please tell Winter to sod off, and soon. The willow trees are about to release a billion seeds per hour for the next three weeks (everything gets smothered in it) and the soft top is taxed as of Monday, so a spell of mild and sunny is just what we need. Amen.

To top it all my journey today was using Southern Rail. A more incompetent service couldn't be designed. My return leg was curtailed leaving the last two stops in limbo (where I wanted to be) so wifey had a trip out in the rain to rescue the disheartened old fart.

Maybe PH should put in a bid for the Southern franchise....what could possibly go wrong?

Utterly fked off with the weather. It's been either rain or bloody freezing temps for months now. My hooner mates are all chomping at the bit to go for a blast in the countryside but every morning the roads are wet or icy or both. I only drive my Megane to keep the battery from going flat! Right now it's cold and pissing with rain which is co-incidentally the forecast for the next 10 bloody days!!!!

And to think that last year in Cyprus the locals complained that every day was the same there, hot and sunny!!

Edit: Just as I post this I hear thunder outside!!

Rain, Rain... go the fk away. I’m on annual leave and had hoped to get some gardening done. I’ve already binged a Netflix series and a couple of films. In two days. Bored now and I’ve got another week off!

On the plus side a friend who works in Ibiza for the summer DJ season has flown back for Easter. Happy I won’t be seeing his daily beach bar updates.

Make it stop.

The bad news - next week could be utterly cold, wet and miserable.

The good news - signs persist for high pressure in the second week of April.

Better news, it snowed a bit last night, and is again right now. No chance of it collecting, though there might be some accumulation from the storm moving in on Saturday.

Miserable here in North Berwick (near Edinburgh) - heavy rain and sleet with temperatures around 3 degrees. We do holiday lets and I feel sorry for the family arriving tomorrow; they have a week of golf planned and it forecast is pretty bleak.

I hate the winter and suffer from SAD so this last six months has been trying to say the least; that said we are off to Florida next week so hopefully when we return the last few months will be but a distant memory.

Any idea for 22nd April or too early to tell?
