I might go to a thing on Friday.
First went to it in 1980,at a different location.
Haven't been every year.
Weather looking promising.
I was able to display the Cos and Fabio in previous years but it's now pre registration for mostly custom cars n Americans and a few classics.
Funny how some modern boring stuff sneaks in.
Website states clearly no pass,no entry,no exceptions.

It shut him up, though. For how long? Don't know.

AND SO TO BED.

Nite nite Trivialites. Don't let the bed bugs bite.

( To tell the truth, that is most unlikely as they detest the taste of Absinthe-saturated blood. yuck )

Well, it's been a fairly busy night at Carbon Fibre Cowboys - we've been installing a sound system in "our" little area. All manner of wireless and Bluetooth trickery and witchcraft, sounds marvellous. Bloody loud it is too.

This was the first thing that got an airing on it:

COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST!!! VOL 2

in GG.

It wasn't a twenty man pub brawl, more of a one-to-one history lesson. The fear is the student wasn't present. One-to-none?

I fear you are correct Dicky, I hate to use the expression but he strikes me as a bit of a sycophant, the expression "There's a Z3 coupe near me I've been meaning to pap" I'm afraid made me shudder!!!

We're off out for breakfast, noice!!!lick

Thanks, but there's no need to shout, Dicky. wink

Next time let us know a bit earlier, I'm sure we can escalate it to a good pubch-up. punch

Nice Aston.
I quite liked the look of the Calibra "back in the day" smile
But it was a disappointment to drive and it felt very claustrophobic.
The Cavalier GSi 4×4 however... that was pretty good. Especially when fitted with the red RON plug ( Part No. Something something something ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! Available from your local friendly Vauxhall main dealer. ) biggrin . It remapped the ECU and made the car into a bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing.
The GSi handled quite well too, for a family saloon. driving

Regrettably I have never had the pleasure of driving an Aston.

Breakfast was a rather nice affair, followed by a visit to a friend for a coffee now home and relaxing!!

Ah yes the old Cavalier GSI 4x4, biggest audio instal I ever did was in one of those, he had a custom fibreglass enclosure made with two 12inch subs and a rack for the amps in between them, I had to do all the wiring including two 1 farad caps, for it's time it was an awesome set up, managed nearly 130dbs, which considering the subs didn't vent into the cabin was pretty good!!!

On Sunday I shall be conducting an experiment.

I shall live without time.

I will get up ,the alarm clock shall be placed face down ,or in another room.
I can avoid the time by not using tv ,laptop ,phone ,no other clocks in the house.
Clock in the car ,won't go out in it.
I can go for a walk, can't look into the shop windows with a clock on view.
I can estimate time by when it gets dark.
I shall go to bed when I think it's late enough.

Just another weird day in the weird world of Peri.

ExPERIment......wobble
