My mate at school, his family ran Betws y Coed Coaches. They had Plaxman Leopards and some of those 4 wheel steering thingies. Another mate's Dad ran a fleet of Van Hool smartiepants coaches over to the Continent.
My dad has been a bus/coach driver all my life so I have spent a fair amount of time in and around buses/coaches.

Yep, a Bedford VAL. My dad has been a bus/coach driver all my life so I have spent a fair amount of time in and around buses/coaches.

Drove a bus for the first time in nearly a year this week, it's nice to keep the skills and I get to drive some nice old machinery. I don't ever want to go back to driving every day though!
This is my annual chunter about car insurance.
Why the fk do they think they can nearly double the cost of my insurance? Do they really think that I will think "oh I cant be bothered using a comparison site I will just automatically renew my policy" especially when the meerkats send you an email telling you how little they can get your insurance for. It took me longer on the phone to Allianz to cancel the auto renew than it did to set up a new policy with LV (and save £250). Robbing barstewards. I know it is a business but if they can afford to insure me last year for 50% less then why should it be different this year?

I tried to chip in during the coach chat but phone decided against it.

The Italian Job coach is a Bedford Val with a Harrington Legionnaire body. Plenty of Val chassis remain but only 6 Harrington bodied ones survive.
As for the Tiger, I'm confused - it looks like a 1970s coach? A friend of mine has one of 2 surviving Leyland Tigers bodied as wrecker trucks by Ribble Coaches, and it's a most definitely 40s/50s looking device (with a beautiful flare-sided body)

Chinese six chassis never really caught on for coaches; they didn't need the ability to carry weight forward and by the time they came to market tyre tech was improving fast enough that blow-outs were far less of a risk in high speed coaching, so the extra deadweight, extra sets of brakes, steering gear, suspension and tyres to maintain was an unwanted burden. They do look cool though.

It's really good, just hope the participants aren't actors and it's all a big setup.
