2 minutes after this photo was taken (this morning), I managed to get the thing beached (c2 feet of snow with very deep tractor tracks caused the wheels to lift off the ground), nothing for it other than lay on the ground and shovel the stuff out (30 minutes).

"Heavy snow forecast, where should we go, walk to the local or drive to the tan hill in the golf plus?" "Grab the keys and my thinnest coat!"

A few last flurries in Aberdeenshire.
But no power, no phones, and problems with mains water. Large area affected and the last update said aiming to fix by 6 tonight, but I’m not hopeful. Even that will be 48 hours so although it was a big storm doesn’t say much about resilience of infrastructure.

I am, my photo is from Cumbria.
Then you need to look at the rest of your network not just the one bit where you parked yourself.

I know you guys don't patrol the 66 but it was a damn site worse up there than that pic on the m62.

We only cover the motorway, the powers that be won't let us patrol our A roads.
