Perhaps try telling it again on Wednesday?
I thought her name was Tuesday? Tuesday Weld or something like that?Nope, you're right, it was Wednesday. I stand corrected. These orthopaedic shoes are marvellous!
I wonder if Gomez was a Sheffield fan?

I have done that once by accident. Only once. And you don't hold it like that for very long...
It was the smell of burning flesh that first alerted me to my mistake, rather than the pain!
I've also done this and then wondered why the hell they make these things shaped like pens, with the heated part so far above the part you actually want to be hot it took nearly a decade for those two fingers to fully recover! It was the smell of burning flesh that first alerted me to my mistake, rather than the pain!
"70 years ago today an American pilot called Chuck flew a small noisy aeroplane quite fast. He is still talking about it.
For this incredible achievement, of managing to bang on about a single flight continuously for 70 years without either shutting up or pausing to get a round in, Brig.Gen. Charles Yeager is still considered an inspiration to aircrew the world over and an entry may be found in the Guinness book of records."

He did have an impressive war record and was highly regarded as a pilot even before he got the X1 gig. But the level of respect he received compared with Eric Brown is absurd I agree.
