Stood at the Van of Death in my customary Jesus creepers, I become acutely aware that last night a friend's daughter thought it fun to varnish my toenails.

If you want, I could find various reviews on a number of websites via my iPhone 4S. Well, y'know - only if it would help you make an informed decision.

This train is almost empty. 'Free' WiFi, tea, and a snack box!

Trains are ace!

I've just driven to Manchester and back, a round trip of 396 miles. The train is sounding like a good alternative to me at the moment.

You'll be train-bound first thing in the morning?

That I could live with.

90 mins of cramped, hot, smelly, no free wifi, no phone signal for 50/90 minutes and regular delays.

That can fk right off.

Nope, I had a play with one at lunch though, it is a step forward again, but not vastly. I only have to wait a year and then I can upgrade. biggrin

Talking of trains though, I loved the one from Sheffield to Chesterfield I took in the summer. It had tables, free WiFi and a quiet cabin while everyone was on phones/laptops or reading. It was very civilised. Shame it was over in ten minutes.

Then the complete opposite on Friday when I went to Birmingham New Street from Litchfield. My oh my that made a Stagecoach look posh and upperclass. It smelt, shook and had questionable stains on the seat. I sat next to a guy that could not contain the contents of his burger and a women that played and sang to herself while I saw her chew that chewing gum. Utter pile of crap it was. The ticket man was very pleasant though. smile
