The magnets come in a plastic box stuck to a peice of plastic coated metal, or at least mine did. The novelty has well and truly worn off after a week.

Thinking of buying the stronger one tomorrow.

I've already got a decent current I7 laptop with 8gb ram and 512gb SSD which I run my business from. I've also got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 which is great to take about and do bits on. Therefore I have absolutely zero need for this, but I've still backed it and paid extra for the 512gb SSD. Entirely pointless but I'm hoping it delivers and is decent. I'm unsure for what purpose though.

That's a proper small screen.
I can't imagine actually doing anything desktop based on it. The text must be tiny in any real world docs etc.
How is that any better than this?

Sure it's cheaper, but it's not very well resolved, is it? It looks like a portable TV from the 90s, or the in flight entertainment unit from the same period...
I think your frivolometer needs a reboot.
I'm with him on this... that looks like a terrible device to actually use. Also looks very amateurish in styling, ports and usability... maybe 15 years ago it would have looked cool. But really... these days?

Also... Windows 10 on that small a device, I'd rather st in my hands and clap.

17th century transitional rapier

I really want a 16th century rapier but they are pretty rare, this is the next best thing.

Also bought a gold figurine. I have no need for a gold figurine and it cannot be sold so it is pretty useless.

That Indiegogo site is dangerous!!

You've got me looking at the mini-PC and a Lynq tracking device now (for the dog)!

The comments on the mini-PC page don't fill me with hope, however...

I think husband and I may be in the process of making the most frivolous purchase of our lives.... a 4 bed detached.

Why frivolous? Well, #1 son has decided he is moving in with his other half and #1 daughter has now announced she's moving to Milton Keynes with her boyfriend so we'll have a huge house and lots of space for us and the dog.

Obviously there will be a Star Wars room 😂 May have to reign in the frivolity somewhat though.

Talking of frivolous, and music..

I hired Angel recording studio 1, a bunch of musicians and a conductor to record music that I knew would never earn me any money or be published. Just music I wanted to hear.

Frivolous money well spent!

I've gone a bit spend happy over the last couple of days, so winging it's way from the states via Amazon is this:

A PowerProbe 4 ($139 + $53 shipping/duty on amazon.com vs £308.66 on amazon.co.uk... !)

And winging their way from the nearest Amazon UK DC are:

A LS01 Power Probe Accessory Lead Set

and:

A Uni-T UT81B Digital Scopemeter

The PP is frivolity because I don't need it at all, the meter is kinda frivolous as the PP3 battery in my last meter died, so rather than a £2 battery, I'll buy a scope meter instead because... why not!

That's all very well and might be important to some - but how big are the garage and shed ? Careful, 'cos it might cease to be frivolous.
