What am I going to make? No idea. Toys for the kids, probably. Lots of things on thingverse.
I've been putting some time into learning fusion 360, last having touched CAD 24 years ago.

Build time was probably about 7 hours, with 2 hours of troubleshooting and calibration so far.

Which option did you pick? I went with genius, my kids will be 7 and 9 at Christmas.
The electric one whilst tempting was a touch rich.

I went for the Pioneer, though I feel I’m going back in for the electric motor add-on!

I got an Early-bird "Smart" kit...

I already got told off by the missus, but I did announce it as "don't worry, I've bought the kids' Christmas present"...

I did the same. I got the kids a christmas present, it's like full size mechano.

She didn't ask how much.

I just googled it and found this website, dangerous website to go on but may contribute some new purchases for the thread if people click it tongue out

https://www.thisiswhyimbroke.com/trump-troll-doll/

Im currently scrolling through the 'Whats new' section and lots of cool things there!
SistersofPercy may want to avoid it, real piece of the millennium falcon, Hans solo blaster and rideable electric tie fighter are a few of the cool star wars things I have seen... not cheap though! biggrin

Not remotely frivolous, i use mine probably every other day, just this morning i unicycled back the two miles from kwikfit after dropping the wifes car off, and the back to pick it up later car on great for nipping to the local shop on too. That’s good progress, I’m sorely tempted; must resist......

I believe Mr. Prusa beat me to that. I've printed a whistle and a benchy so far, along with some parts for making a printer enclosure.

I'd say that was ridiculous rather than frivolous.
