Couldn't resist this old enamel sign - local business, now gone sadly but very much a legend here in Bath.
I bought my first guitar from them in the late 80's. My Dad was 'dating' someone who worked in the sheet music section at the time biggrin

Must be an electric floor cleaner made of wood?

I needed some replacement earphones for walking/running/proving how unfit I am every other evening. Somehow I've lost the set I bought years ago that have done the job fine.

Any set of headphones would do, doesn't need to be anything special, I'll probably lose them or drop them or something anyway. Something cheap and almost throw away.

rolleyes

On the plus side, the app will tell you where you last had them if you lose them, and they do sound incredibly good for Bluetooth earphones. Comfy too and they don't budge at all when running.
Have you had much signal drop outs?

Sound cancelling?

Once or twice but I put it down to my phone having connectivity issues with pretty much everything on Bluetooth. It would drop out one ear for a second then come back but that's it.

So having not had the best passed 2 months myself and the wife have been on a frivolous frenzy as such.

So

Item 1 - A 2001 Porsche Boxster 3.2s in Ocean Blue - It's immaculate had a 2.7 last year and figured another was on the cards one day.
2.7 had 174k on it, never had RMS/IMS done, only a clutch. This one has 90k on it, resprayed last year in it's original colour etc. love it.

Item 2 - A deactivated Bulgarian AK47 - Arsenal SAM7UF (7.62x39) Blond - Not sure why but I quite fancied one for putting on the garage wall, I did want an M16 but was struggling to find one.

Item 3 - Which was purchased on Saturday. A Quadzilla 450 Sport road legal quad. Not for hooligan shenanagans but where I live in the highlands we have alot of land etc for running these and it saves having to transport it via a van for the sake of a few miles when I can jump on it and go. Only done like 15 miles but it's pretty wild on and off the road, never owned a road legal one.

Good fun all round.

Try the bay of fleas, prices seem to vary somewhat but search for "jerry can mini bar" and it should give you plenty of choice for sub a ton. Fit outs vary inside for glasses/cans/wine/spirits as you prefer. Cheers!

Nice collection of toys there!

Just wanted to mention, I used to have a Yamaha Raptor 700r road legal quad and also lived in highlands, was great fun on forest tracks etc.

I seem to remember some people having certain issues with their Quadzilla's at the time, so maybe worth investigating so you can check yours for any potential issue before venturing too far away, they aren't fun to push for any distance wink

At the time I had mine I used the QuadsUK forum for info, worth checking there as people had the Quadzillas also.

Also, you will love winter time in the snow, great fun! thumbup

Thought I'd give a brief updated on the electric unicycle :

I spent the first weekend practicing on it for a few hours - mostly on a Saturday morning for about an hour. Since then, just 10 mins or so every few days but it becomes fairly natural pretty quickly.

Yesterday was the first time I actually "used" it. I had some paintwork done to one of my cars about a month ago, and realised yesterday that it wasn't perfect so dropped it back at the bodyshop. Admittedly this is about 10 mins walk from my house - but it was a good excuse to put the new toy to real use and it worked very well. It's also good to confirm I am now good enough at using it that I can actually go from A to B on it rather than just up and down my road.

For anybody tempted I still highly recommend it - it's great fun. The only catch is that kids / teenagers think it's "sick" and "can I have a go?" which isn't really the kind of attention a man of my age wants to attract.

I'm fairly sure that "sick" is a good thing.

A friend has a Raptor 700 and it's bonkers full stop.

My Quadzilla is a used one with 2500miles on it so hopefull the issues have been ironed out. Did about 30 miles on/off road last night which was good fun.

Aye I don't fancy having to push it much to be fair smile hopefully it doesn't happen.

Yeah it was great fun, my Raptor did seem to eat bearings on the rear axle when used a lot on road though, guess they aren't really designed for the continuous higher speeds combined with no diff, so worth keeping an eye on also in case you weren't aware. Ended up selling mine and buying a CBR600r Hannspree which was also bonkers, especially as it was my first road bike!

Hopefully any issue is already resolved then, I just remembered them mentioned before on the forum from some members, but I think they were a relatively new brand as well at that time so I'm sure those type of things have been ironed out by now.

I once had the chain break which stranded me, but thankfully not offroad so got a friend to pick me up with a trailer, maybe worth keeping a spare chain link under the seat just in case as it would have been an easy side of the road fix and meant I could have got home or to a garage.

Enjoy!

I haven't ordered one yet. But debating picking up one of these. Although the small Keg size is putting me off. Has anyone bought a home dispenser? Quite fancy one for BBQs & Poker nights...

https://uk.the-sub.com/the-sub-red-edition.html?ca...

Ideally I'd want something with a nice design, but that can hold 15 pints or more...rather than 3...

I did find this, but don't see the Mrs allowing it any time soon...
