Multi-blade razors
Discussion
Can't remember how long ago i bought a wilkinson sword classic, it was based on a recommendation on here. I rarely shave, maybe 3-4 times a year at most, however I've used up all the blades that came with it. I have really enjoyed using the DE razor, was easier than I thought.
Any suggestions for blades to use that'll fit? (i'd imagine they all would, right?)

And as you can see above, everyone is different. Find a place selling a blade smaller pack, and try as many as you feel like.
I get on well with Dorco blades, along with shark, derby, vostok and merkur. Basically Russian and Korean, with some UK and German. Pakistani blades are as rough as a badger's arse for me. Others love them.
Feather are too sharp/aggressive for me to use without excessive care; they're just not as good a fit for me as, say, a merkur - which isn't subjectively as 'good' a blade.
I wouldn't recommend feather until you're shaving more often. But you never know, you might really like them.

Feather blades are generally regarded as the best/sharpest. Always on a warm and wet face with soap/cream.
Feather are my go to blade. I've tried plenty of other makes but none come close in terms of overall quality. I bought 200 Feather blades recently from Woot (Amazon discount site) which will last me for a few years. I would echo what JimmyJimJim says though and try a selection, as everybody will have their own go-to blade.

These are really nice blades. They're very sharp but good for only a couple of shaves. As little as you shave, they will last you forever.Any suggestions for blades to use that'll fit? (i'd imagine they all would, right?)

As for creams or soaps, I'd go for Truefitt and Hill or Taylors, If I'm feeling lazy, or need a quick shave, Harrys eucalyptus cream or Proraso cream and a Bic such as this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Flex-Hybrid-Razors-Handle... does the job.
Shaving should be a pleasurable experience.

My go to shaving medium is Cella soap, I am just 'using it up', not sure why but I use one product only until it is gone. The Cella lasts a long time, a £6 tub lasts over 6 months and works perfectly for me.
Don't forget the moisturiser guys, doesn't need to be expensive, most days I just use Lidl cocoa butter 500ml or the Lidl Q10 night cream 50ml which cost 99p and £1.50 respectively.

Feather blades are sharp because they have a triple hone, which is why they "go off" after two or three shaves. The combination of Feather blades in a "mild" razor, such as Feather's own AS-DE can't be beaten, as far as I'm concerned.
Shaving should be a pleasurable experience.
I've been running Feathers in my R41 over the last few months. I get a very close shave - although I have to be careful as it's pretty aggressive. I've also got an R89 but generally only use that when I travel. Shaving should be a pleasurable experience.
