I have about 8 pairs of plimsoles in different colours, they feel nice to drive in and are casual.
Although not best if doing long walks (obviously).
I wear a nice red pair of these with my jeans, comfy and they go well.Although not best if doing long walks (obviously).

Pretty much anything can work with jeans, depending on the style, cut and colour of them - you've got to be fairly blind to make a cock up there.
It also depends what you're wearing with the jeans but I agree.silverthorn2151 said:

Formal shoes with jeans aren't a great idea, but other than that if it works it works.
Try looking in the mirror.
Ive been told by various people that they are actually quite nice. Guess its just an age thing.

For me it's TOMS (in grey) in nice weather. No socks.
Hate these with a passion. At the moment (not right now) wearing Vans, pair of Adidas Cueros bought a few months back and a pair of Adidas Forrest Hills. All with jeans.
To the OP - I think i read in the other thread a big no-no is running trainers with jeans. I agree but then again i've never ever seen anybody do this haha!
