For entertainment and devotion to the arts, i'd would choose the likes of Sir Patrick Stewart or Brian Blessed.

There is no one in the music industry that I could say is the greatest, by a long shot.
I would however agree that Hawkin has given us an awful lot.

87% of the population of England is white (and even more so if you only class people born in England was being "English") - it should therefore come as no surprise that the majority of the suggestions would be of this ethnicity.

But as an aside - Freddie Mercury wasn't white he was asian (suggested on page 1), neither is Frank Bruno (suggested on page 2).
