Little Gem lettuce. Plenty of iceberg, plenty of assorted pre-packaged salad leaves.
Try Waitrose. Always managed to get them there so far.

Flour is getting slightly more available now, but only slightly.
What I can't work out is why it's so scarce. Yes some people bake but most don't.
There is plenty of bread and cake out there so there isn't a desperate need to start to learn to bake or do it through necessity.
I can only assume that there is a lot of flour in cupboards that will never get used but was bought just in case.

Eggs - where did they go? Chickens don't stop laying and the restaurants won't want them, yet none in the shops.

Flour - ditto. Most of the bakeries are shut, but there is no flour to be found anywhere.
We had a delivery from Asda last Saturday, this included a dozen free range eggs, we are due another one tomorrow, between 12.00 and 14.00, this includes a half dozen free range eggs.
Can’t comment on the flour, I’ve seen some in the cupboard, but I’m reasonably sure that my wife got that herself from Tesco, before we were offered the Asda delivery slot.

Flour is out of supply because idiots stockpiled it. Now the flour mills are prioritising bakeries instead of supermarkets.

Production is not the issue. Putting it into tiny 1kg bags is. My brother bought a 16kg sack yadretsey.

Inflatable hot tub.

Although actually you can be fleeced through the nose on ebay....
B&M had them on the weekend according to my friend, who had just been and bought one and was setting it up for "the kids" to play in.
None in B&M till June, then they get 4 per store.

B&Q are now open and have loads .... thats my "fun" this weekend.

fortunately tescos had plenty of beer so i will be consuming that in equal parts or greater!
Decking Oil, I had to order online and then ride to the ninth nearest DIY store to collect.
That was convenient hehe had a few of them too "ohh damn, my nearest store doesnt have in stock, but the one 40 miles away on nice B-roads does .... "

anyway, after this weekend, i don't want to see bloody fence paint again!!!

I've been converting all of the downlights in the house to take GU10 bulbs. It seems Amazon has barred me from buying any more Hue products, some sort of blanket anti-panic buy measure they seem to have in place hehe

However, Yeast is still in very short supply in our area. We've made our own bread for years, but looking like we might have to buy from a shop soon.

Fence Paint?

I've had a nightmare tring to get Cuprinol Ducks Back Silver Copse. Spent an hour and a half queueing outside 2 b&Qs yesterday - none in stock.
Local DIY store - None.
Screwfix - None
Wickes - None
Homebase - Nothing within 25 miles
B&M Bargains - Nope ( and full of people who don't seem to have been toild about social distancing).
WIlkos - ooks like locusts have been in. Always was a bit behind the times.

Just realised I forgot to try The Range.

Try Toolstation for paint. I just got some Cuprinol Hampshire Oak decking stain. I really wanted Forest green, but after 19 years it's OK to change the colour.

Single pints of milk. There are plenty in other sizes though, so god knows whats going on.
There's a massive oversupply of milk at the moment. Usual story, none of the industries are in a position to buy it and some dairy farmers are having to dump gallons of the stuff.
So it just isn't worthwhile in selling it to supermarkets in such small denominations.
I wonder if it's to encourage people to buy larger sizes so that they don't have to go out so often.
We normally need to run at least one line semi permanently on 1 pint and 1L milk.
Last couple of weeks all the orders are the 2L and 4 pint or larger bottles.
Management seem 'surprised' at the figures gained by decomplicating filling plans.

Try Rustins. https://www.rustins.ltd/ Their paints are excellent, and they deliver.

Just purchased some of their Matt Black (under specialist paints) to repaint an oak framed garage. It went on really well. They're bound to have something to suit your needs.
