People who ask for advice and then their final post (if they bother with a reply that is) it to say "Thanks all. All sorted now".

"Simples" No, you are not a meerkat insurance sales gimmick. Stop that.

"That's not funny and never has been" no, you are not the PH arbiter of humour, if you don't like PH speak join another forum. You won't dominate this forum and the only sausage getting hammered as you grumble away will be the milkman's, into your wife/dog.

Also threads where someone has made a mistake (e.g. they misread the OP) and instead of saying "whoops, I misunderstood/misread/focused on something you weren't actually talking about so I can flex this piece of knowledge I recently acquired" just doubles down again, and again, and again.

For a long while I genuinely thought he was saying "thanks" each time I saw that.

This, from someone who owns multiple Public Enemy albums, so you would think I'd have noticed the user name and made the connection.

Posters who write without any paragraphs.

The 'wall of text' style is needlessly difficult to read.

PH is not too bad for this. though another forum I use is.

The misspelling of "surely" is number one on my list.

Are some people genuinely that stupid?
Seriously?

If we're doing grammar, then no you weren't "stood" or "sat" there. You were standing or sitting there.
