Kevin bloody Wilson must win hands down though- he called his house in the uk kickyain
There's a Bell End not far from me!
The one in Worcestershire? there's also a Wyre Piddle and Minge Lane not too far from me.
I used to play Rugby at Upton Severn opposite Minge Lane (assuming the same one - can there be more?!). Fair to say the sign got nicked on the way home on the odd occasion

Can't find any images on line, and there's no way I'm getting in the car to go and take a photo of the sign, but "Fistard" here on the Isle of Man still makes me smile.

Theres a Fistard Road, Fistard Bay etc etc

Just outside Albertville iirc? On the way to La Plagne (and others, obviously).

I've always thought Loose Chippings was an odd name for a village.

Seen quite a few on my travels, though.

There's an area of Cardiff called Splott, which must be the most un-salubrious sounding area to live.
yes

Splott is near the prison, and around the area of the 'magic roundabout'.

It used to be a bit of a crap part of town, but then ex-students started moving there because it was cheap and close to the centre, so it went a bit BoHo.

The locals then started pronouncing it 'SPLOW'. hehe

My favourite local road is 'Bouncers Lane', I can only guess about the history of the area.
