Never get EA to something I actually want. Got "Early Access" to the Prada Adidas drop last night but no way am I dropping £500 on a pair of Adidas plimsolls!

Same size as me! Not sure they will get more in but seem to be available elsewhere.. albeit not as cheap. They are indeed based on combat boots.. I think the 'SFB' is Special Forces Boot. Danner and Oakley do some nice ones like this too.

Currently wearing these for the daily dog walks.. a bit '90's' but very comfy and a good price at Urban Industry

Sorry most of my collection is predominantly white, not a fan of jazzy and colourful, for me I don't feel like they go with anything. Envy all you lot and your colours

My response was tongue in cheek, I've got shed loads of mainly white ones that only see the light of day on a warm dry day with 0% chance of rain. But I also have many that require sunglasses to look at!

I did. My first EA. Seems a ton of people did. I think Nike have made a lot of these (as they apparently did with the Lost & Found 1’s, which I really wanted but didn’t get).

Not 100% sure if I am going to keep them. I really want too, as I’ve never had a pair of 3’s, but my money is better spent on my car at the mo (and I really want the Spiderman 1’s coming out in a couple of months).

There's been a few horror stories about the quality of these. Leather not matching up, elephant print not matching.

I've never had a pair of 3's and not hugely keen on white shoes either. But i'll try and get a pair. £190 is steep and I paid £200 on the weekend for some 5s (which I may return). Not sure about the Spiderman 1's from the picture I have seen.

A few years back i'd never have dreamed of paying £100+ for trainers. The price Nike charge is pretty extortionate and it's concerning how fast their prices have increased.

I checked my account from about 3 years ago and paid £125 for some Jordan 1 highs. A year ago I paid £155 and now they're about £165 - £180.

If anything, the quality of the product has become worse over time.

Yeah I saw pics on Instagram of the quality issues. I'll see if what mine are like, which might help me decide if I keep them!

Was that the UNC 5's? Love that colour man. I'm not a huge 5 fan, I think they look a little bulky to wear with jeans etc [especially as I'm a UK11]. I did enjoying playing basketball in 5's though.

I know what you mean. The Spiderman 1's are certainly Marmite! But I'm a sucker for Chicago 1's and do like the pop-art/comic book styling they've applied to some of the 'sections'. I was gutted I didn't get the Origin Story 1's in 2017, so can't say no to these.

I will try to get me some SB 4's coming out this month too

Just buy what you like man. I don't care how many people I see in Jordan's, I've been buying and wearing them for well over 20 years and will be for the next 20. Plus, there is a massive difference between Jordan Brand kicks [that Sports Direct might sell] and Air Jordan's, especially in OG colours.

It was the UNC 5's. I also like the UNC colour and not owned any in the colour - i've got powder blue which is close but not the same. Not sure if i'm a fan of 5s when wearing them.

Origin Story 1's were nice as it looked like a Chicago with an icy blue sole. The new Spiderman aren't doing it for me from the pictures I have seen.

I'll also try for the SB 4's. They're very hyped up and will be hard to get hold of so not expecting to get them. I can't help but feel Nike are just cashing in on the SB brand now. There's nothing skateboarding to do with the Jordan 4. The colouway is pretty basic and the only real difference appears to be a gum sole. But people are stting the bed for them.
