Ie , searching for manual, and they list it as manual with an auto box!

Or the other putting NOT M3 in the title of their 320D advert. So it gets more views. Do they think if someones searching for an M3 and see's there 320D they are going to think, you know what that will do instead?
I find it annoying to search for Golf R and keep getting R-Line.

I am still getting fed up with sellers (usually large multi site ones) using the limited photos to show their site or AA warranted or arty farty pictures of the badge/black white or a wing mirror. So with the 12 photos not one of the bloody insides!

Agreed !

Dealers also very rarely show a pic of the engine bay - the rest of the car may be spotless but if the engine is covered in crud then it indicates it hasn't been properly cared for frown

BBC News again. Fiona Bruce is presenting from Downing Street, for no apparent reason. There's nothing to see, and she keeps telling us that nothing will be known until around 9pm. Well, stay in the studio then.
They were at it again at 10pm with Huw Edwards outside No 10. Trouble was that there was a loud demonstration (I think) with blaring music that made the whole thing pointless.

Also, the whole reporting of the VoNC annoyed me. It was reported with the sombre tones of mourning that would have been appropriate for a national treasure having died rather than the disappointment that the slavering, hypocritical press corp had failed to get the Prime Minister ejected on a rather slender pretext. And it was portrayed in the "lost the vote but won the argument" construct that is variously used for things that didn't go the way the press wanted.

Don't get me wrong though, I think Boris should have resigned long ago for startling incompetence on many fronts. I wish the Tories had booted him last night. The man has shown he is not up to the job.

I think you're probably right - but Boris has proven that he's not the right man. Let's keep going in the process of elimination.

Whatever you think of him, they have had their vote and they should move on. The whole "but that's not the answer we wanted, let's change the rules" is ridiculous. Both sides of the party should put it behind them and concentrate on what matters, not letting Labour in in 2.5 years time.

Comparing it to May and saying that she resigned 6 months later is daft. That was nothing to do with result of the VoNC, that was because she was defeated three times on the Withdrawal Bill. If Boris starts losing Commons votes then he will probably also be toast, if not, he ain't the sort to resign.

On a similar note, regarding car sales at least - genuinely one of the most irritating things I experience when browsing performance car listings is the lack of engine bay shots.

Some sellers will go out of their way to photograph each door card, the CD changer in the boot, the tyre tread with a measuring tool, but not a single snap with the bonnet or rear deck open.

I recall a time when my friend was looking for a C5 RS6. He sent me the advert and after a scan I mentioned the frustrating lack of power plant pics. He said no biggie, everyone knows what the engine bays look like. I could literally have predicted what happened next.

We arrive, look round the car at the showroom, and as he inevitably lifts the bonnet to inspect within - none of the carbon fascia panels were present. These weren't cheap to source in 2014, let alone now.

wonder what would happen if more than 50% of tory mps wanted him to go, and he locked himself in the toilet and refused to resign ?

queenie gets involved , parliament dissolved and an immediate GE called, maybe.

we need a constitutional crisis

He doesn't get a choice in that case, a leadership contest is initiated and he's excluded from standing. He would remain PM until a new leader was elected who would then visit the Queen who would invite them to form a government.

PH would then descend into "but he\she is an unelected PM so has no mandate" once again ignoring that since 1900, 23 people have been PM and of the 28 times the PM has changed, only 11 were as a result of a GE (including MacDonald's coalition in 1924).

Of the last five, only Blair and Cameron became PM at a GE, Brown, May and Johnson all became PM mid-term (and of those three only Johnson won the next GE).

This.

And we don't want Labour in through the back door, so I think Boris is the best of a poor lot. Do wish the Tories would just get on with it instead of this petty in-fighting which does nobody any favours.

Can we keep politics out of this thread please? There are other areas of PH that've been infected with that sort of crap if you want to talk about it.

For balance, I do want Angela Rayner through the back door.

Maybe we could all agree that Politicians and the Media that cover them, annoy us all beyond reason and leave it at that?

spam/silent calls from Premium numbers. No matter how many times I block them they keep coming. Apparently Plusnet can tell me what they are on my display, but can't block them. This is as annoying as the calls

Difficult to recall a specific location for an example, but basically, lazy residents who have no respect for their local area to the point that they walk as the crow flies and cut diagonally across a patch of well-kept grass simply to save 5 seconds that it takes to walk around the nice grass on the paved path. Many do it, and a trodden down path gets created which everyone then uses.
