I see from your profile that you're Midlands based?

I can recommend John Lewis at Life and Death Tattoos in Shrewsbury for black and grey detail work. He's done portraits, animals, but also other realism pieces like buildings and cars / engines: https://instagram.com/tattoosbylewis?igshid=YmMyMT...
I’ve had a look around and I’ve booked with Lewis in January. Thanks for the heads up on him.

Got this a couple of weeks ago to fill a little gap on my arm, just from the artist’s flash but it fits the other stuff I have.

Cheers! Wasn't bad at all honestly - over the knuckle bone and wrist bend was a bit tender but really no issue. There's a lot of ink so it swelled up a fair bit, and it was a bit awkward going through the airports etc with one hand wrapped up lol...

Second day of healing today though and it's doing well, swelling's gone, it's just tight..

Just out of a 7-hr session getting a full back Samurai piece done - thank fk that’s the full outline done because I’m not ashamed to say I was broken by the end! Next steps, filling, shading and a bit of colour - think I’ll give it a few weeks hehe

Thanks both!

It was by Jolene Sherrard in Dorset.

I was very lucky in that she wanted to try some new styles so did it for half price. It should have been £400 a day but I paid £200 a day. Total cost was £250 which I'm very pleased with. I would happily pay full price.

I'll be going back to her again...just need to decide what I want.

She's very talented but I meant is the portrait of someone famous or someone you know? Or is it Jolene?

Anyone know any well regarded places/ artists in Kent? I'm looking to get something along the lines of this, to this sort of standard, style and detail.

Liking the latest additions to the thread. Some really nice stuff.

Still pondering my second, to compliment my badger :-)
