I don't think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread and wouldn't buy his fart in a jar (unlike some).

But I can appreciate he is one of (arguably the #1) the greatest players to play the game. I was born in the 80s so missed some of his time on the court and didn't grow up with Sky TV. But I knew about the Chicago bulls at the time and the things which pippen, rodman and Jordan were achieving.

Personally, I don't care enough whether the pair of shoes I wear on my feet is the exact same as when Jordan played game 3 of the playoffs or dunked from the free throw line etc.
That may be the difference then. I started playing basketball as a teen in the 90’s and was heavily influenced by Michael Jordan. The OG colours just remind me of that time. I played basketball for over 20 years (a second ACL injury putting an end to that a few years ago) and trainers have always been an interest of mine, as well as my cars. I’ve still got a few pairs of Jordan’s from the late 90’s/early noughties.

Anyway, my love of retro J’s in OG colours has nothing to do with marketing. They just remind me why I loved playing basketball so much and watching MJ play.

Man they’re nice…though I’m likely to sell them/send them back as the money is better spent on my Jag! I’d love them to keep them as a pair to have and wear occasionally, but that’s a waste of money really. Grrrr!

Why is it a waste of money? scratchchin

What size and does the print match up?

Does £200 even go far towards your car?

Just cos near £200 for a pair of trainers I’d very rarely wear isn’t really money well spent.

Saying that, maybe I would wear quite a bit?! Hmm, there are other kicks I want more though.

Decisions decisions!!

UK 11. Print isn’t too bad. Better than others I’ve seen pics of.

Every penny counts! Autumn last year I had quite a bit of bodywork carried out (paint, rust repair etc) on my Jag STR. Next of the list is a pro detail so that’s where my dosh should go!

As I mentioned though, I do want those Spiderman 1’s in May and, I’ve really got my eye on a pair of Off-White Jordan 2’s and/or the Magnus Walker Dunk highs!

I've lost track how they should actually look. Even the pair which Nike used for their promotional content had flaws in.

There's a chance they may not do another White Cement for 5-10 years. If you're into the OG colourways it may be worth hanging on to.

I've got my eye on a few things too but might give Jordan 3 a try even though i'm not huge on white shoes.

if you're just going to return them, what was the point buying them in the first place?

Number one, I might keep them, so was worth getting a pair just in case I do. Number two, I read/heard that if you interact with the SNKRS app as much as possible [so watch the content, obviously buy stuff, enter the raffles etc], you increased your chances of getting more W's. I had an EA on these so was a good idea to take that offer.

For instance, the Lost & Lost J1's from November, the people that got an EA were people that had previously entered and lost 10 J1 high raffles, or something like that. So it's always worth trying to buy the hype kicks [even if you don't keep them], in case that betters your chances of 'winning' the ones you do want!

A question for the knowledgable....

Middle aged spread has happened to my feet (as well as my waist line).

What flat shoes will fit a wider foot? I can't fit in Chucks any more, I used to love my Simples, but not seen them for years. The Nike skate shoes are too slim.... any ideas please?

Thanks!
Puma Clyde, NB do a range of fittings also.
Second for NB, some of the comfiest shoes I own.

I heard about this yesterday and was on the app at 8am on the dot. Saw absolutely nothing pop up when I looked around on the app.

I gave up looking and had to make my way to work.

Where did you hear about it yesterday? And you was on the nike app not snkrs weren't you? If you go on and scroll across on the main page to latest drops you'll see them.

These came today, nice and colourful as usual paperbag

She's got taste yes

And yes white mesh is rather phone to dirt but I've bought them to keep my more precious shoes out of regular use, I kept going to my shox far too often which is bad news.

But you do have to be careful with them otherwise they wear out pretty quickly but I tend to give them a fast decline to the graveyard the minute they look tired. I've not washed a pair of trainers in absolutely years paperbag

Someone posted it yesterday on a sneakers group i'm a member of on Facebook.

I was on snkrs. I didn't even realise there was a separate Nike app! Not really sure why they have separate apps.

Ahh I see, want to be more in the know about drops and restock if possible, I found out a minute before I posted here which is cutting it fine. I don't want to state the obvious but it's a bit like adidas and confirmed but with the dunk having hype I was suprised it was on the normal app and not sneakrs.
