Just out of a 7-hr session getting a full back Samurai piece done - thank fk that’s the full outline done because I’m not ashamed to say I was broken by the end! Next steps, filling, shading and a bit of colour - think I’ll give it a few weeks hehe
Hands down back is the worst.

Absolutely horrific.
Was better than sternum. 4 full days on my back were not bad I didn’t think!

Sternum and collarbone are a piss take to be honest, I wouldn't recommend..

Palm was objectively the most painful location I've done, but it was over relatively quick and although it bloody hurts, it's easier to isolate yourself from if that makes sense? Whereas lying on your back for a few hours having your chest and ribs battered is just altogether uncomfortable. Although I remember when I was having mine done, it was only me and the artist in a tiny private studio, so we put It's Always Sunny on Netflix (first time we'd both seen it) and had to keep pausing the tattooing to laugh laugh made it somewhat more bearable

My back was fine - I found that I couldn’t really “feel” anything along my spine - it just felt buzzy.

Sternum and ribs were uncomfortable.

Anything near my armpit was bad - made my toes curl.

Tops of my feet wasn’t as bad as I thought.

Knee cap and shins pretty bad but bearable.

The absolute worst was my arse. Never come so close to tapping out.

Well let's hope you never meet her then.

That would be embarrassing...

It reminded me of Rio, Duran Duran.

7 hrs on the table last Saturday getting some more done on my 'Day of the dead' themed left sleeve. Just about had enough at that point. Needs a bit more 'filling in' then all that's left is under the arm up to the armpit cry

You guys (and girls) are all crazy - I'm a wimp who nearly cries when I get a paper cut, so to sit for hours and hours going through that level of pain, voluntarily, makes no sense to me whatsoever - but I salute each and every one of you! beer

When I had my leg work done (side of calf, full length) the worst pain was getting out of bed each morning. About 20 seconds of excruciating 'tingles' as the blood circulated. Horrible!
