Puggit, you managed to sort it for snow.
Can you sort a decent summer?
Posted a couple of days ago, there's above average chance of a good summer if we can cling on to this pattern of localish high pressure.

There appears to be a streamer pointing at Reading.

I'm in Bristol, of course

A couple of inches in northern Brizzle.

How's it looking in West Berks? Need to head home soon!

FFS is Puggit still here? It has started again.

Snow covered cats defrosting over the floor makes wine trips to the fridge dangerous.
Noooo. Quick MaccyDs at Abbeywood just before they stopped serving breakfast and a tedious drive down the 2 laned M4 to get home for lunch.

Primary open as usual - secondary have cancelled the first lesson so they have more time to get the school ready.

I really don't get this country! Drove from Rowlands Castle this morning, up to the A3M then M27 and down to Fareham then back up to A3 and to Liphook.
There was a little snow falling, but not settling. ALL of the roads were totally clear, even the back roads. SWMBO tells me that over 50% of her colleagues didn't show up (NHS) due to the bad weather!
Honestly, there are more snowflakes taking a duvet day than there are settling on the roads!
Mrs Puggit works for a charity. She's the only one in today...

I followed a mum on the school run from our village to the next village. Roads were good, just occasional slush on the road, but clear tyre tracks. The mum did 25mph the whole way there and back. She stopped at the first school (private school) and I carried on to the primary. Then dropped off my load of kids, turned around drove home - and had to follow her the whole way back again irked

She had a good 3 inches of snow on the roof - so clearly not as safe as she thought.

How far down South?
Easter weekend is too far away to tell. There are currently good odds on another easterly, but it's far from certain.

That’s looks like Plymouth getting back to normal, missing the snow everyone else is getting.

Seriously though, Easter weekend? What the hell!
Snows more often at Easter than at Christmas wink

Still good odds on a cool/cold spell. Wind from the NE is more likely, so Scotland and Geordieland would take the brunt. Not as severe as the last 2 spells.

Wow - reverse psychology worked again. *BIG* upgrades tonight - we are now looking at Wednesday for the start of cold, next week!

(I genuinely thought this wasn't going to happen).

I think the smart money will be on miserably cold rain and hill snow, but we'll have a better idea by Sat/Sun
