Hi, random question, but we are off to New York next week & the kids want to check out some trainer shops.
Flight Club seems to be a big one, but any other recommendations? (or is it no different / better than London).
Thanks smile

Flight club is a reselling consignment store so be wary that you will be paying an absolute fortune for trainers there.

After seeing a lot of those Complex videos with celebrities "shopping" in there I'd go to look around but wouldn't even entertain buying anything. It's all massively overpriced, even stuff that's not that hard to find is way over what you'd pay on Stock X.

I was walking around in lower Manhattan a few years back and walked into a store selling some of the hyped up shoes. Sadly don't recall the name of the store or how unreasonable the prices are. But I would imagine if you're after a deal then you're better off going with ebay / StockX.

Shops which have to pay the massive Manhattan rents aren't going to have many 'steals'.

This is why I've always returned but I do wonder if they ever make it back on sale and not lost in a warehouse somewhere irked
I had an order from END that I placed to be delivered at my work address, I had two items that were last items (no more in size 11) ... DPD attempted delivery Sat & Sun irked ... By end Tuesday when I realised they weren't getting delivered, and they were being returned back to END.
The next week they had the size 11's back in stock so re-ordered for home delivery smile
After ordering they showed no stock again for size 11 & they still show out of stock
So I can only conclude my returned "undelivered" were returned to the shelves & I re-purchased them smile

No luck for me on them. Unless I win on the routeone raffle.

I'm not especially bothered as i'm not 100% sold on them and have bought a few other SB Dunks (gum pack) this week.

Yeah they have the black/white/gum dunks on flatspot but i was holding out to see if i got lucky on these. The only other pair i am aiming for is the supreme SB dunk that is suppose to be dropping soon.

I got a second pair of the black dunk and also tried the white. I'm really after the grey pair but aside from one or two places they weren't even available unless one goes to ebay.

True to size - I’m a 9 in Jordan’s / AM1’s or 8.5 in AF1’s - got a 9 in the GPS and fits great! They really are a good solid General Purpose Shoe - mine have become a work staple
