For the price of those Sony ones i'm very surprised they have connectivity issues! These days this should not be an issue with Bluetooth devices, even cheap things I have tried before have worked well.

Maybe you could try the Taotronic ones, I have the wired ones with ANC and have been very impressed with them, I got them for about 30 euros and use them almost every day in the office. The ANC charges in around 2 hours and lasts 15 hours according to Taotronics, I've never timed it but they do seem to last a long time.

I was just checking on amazon.de and found these which seem to be a Bluetooth version of the ones I have, the earbuds look very similar, but I couldn't find them on the UK amazon site for some reason, i'm tempted to buy some to try when riding my motorbike or in my car when the roof is down:

https://www.amazon.de/TaoTronics-Cancelling-Nacken...

I found them on the American site, so at least you can read some reviews in English, they seem to get decent feedback from there anyway, if they are anything like the wired ones I have then i would be impressed with them for the price. 16 hours playback with ANC off and 8 hours with it on apparently.

Yeah thanks, I haven't seen that before but will check it in future. Camelcamelcamel is also a good one when they have items on sale to see what the actual prices things sold for over time were.

We got the pro one last Christmas, liked the idea you can ( supposedly) drain and filter Theo oil easily.

It’s still a real pain in the arse to mess about with, and even triple cooking chips, can’t seem to get them right.

Used it a few times, it’s now sat in the garage gathering dust!

Hope your fare better with yours!

If you guys are using Chrome, I highly recommend the following:

Keepa:
Adds price history charts and the option to be alerted on price drops to all Amazon sites as you view it in Chrome.
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/keepa-am...

The Camelizer:
Easily view historical pricing data from camelcamelcamel.com.... Just click the button:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/the-came...

I presume you did not know about the above?

The main issue is with the oil tray system, it’s fine in theory, but you still seem to manage to get oil everywhere.

We could also never seem to get things cooked based on what temperature setting was selected on the digital gauge. I suspect the gauge was not as accurate as it needs to be, we always seemed to undercook or overlook, even though we selected the temp setting recommended for the various foods, like chips, onion bahjis and doughnuts.

We always love home made chips on Boxing Day to go with the left over cold meats, but could never get them right with the Tefal fryer, we ended up,going back to an old fashioned chip pan!

I ordered these in the end, guess I only have myself to blame for trying to be helpful on here!

They are frivolous though as I already have the wired version and also have decent Plantronics ANC over ear bluetooth headphones, so hopefully these work well enough and I can maybe use them on my motorbike if they fit under the helmet comfortably! I was thinking I could use in my car when the roof is down, but I'm selling it anyway...

They will be delivered today apparently, so will see when I'm home in a couple of hours...

I decided to buy a polishing machine and some bits to go with it, I originally wanted a battery machine if possible but have seen there aren't many good ones out yet, so decided on a mains one with extension lead instead.

I suppose it might be frivolous depending how much I actually use it, my main concern is I don't screw it up and ruin my paint somehow! Its a DA one so hopefully that helps lower that risk...
