Talking of crap some bloke has tried writing a message in trap 3 at work in his own crap on the wall.

WTF.

sorry if you are having breakfast.
Breakfast? - it's nearly sleepy time.
It is indeed for you old chap, how was the fishing?
Yesterday was a day of mixed fortune - I needed to be towed back to port, had a sudden (& catastrophic battery failure) . Total loss of power - even the vhf wouldn't work. A passing fishing charter boat was flagged down.
All good at day's end - no animals/ persons were hurt in th' making of this adventure. A celebratory season's end wine was 'ad.
I'm a year older than I was yesterday - spring equinox.

ApO, how do you know it was his own?

I have to admit, reading your report has rather put me off fizzy drinks.

yuck

Hygiene Matters.

I think a high-level inquiry should be initiated to find and eliminate the source of this serious threat to public health.

YAY!! Happy birthday paua!! clappartywoohoobeerdrink

We've been through our clothes, Mrs Bobbers filled a black bin bag with clothes for the charity shop, I barely filled a carrier bag with clothes only fit for the bin!!!
She has a jewellery box filled with jewellery she inherited from her mum, she doesn't want any of it and yet won't commit to doing anything with it.

Welcome back paua, I'm still positive that Mr Lennon was tripping out of his box when he wrote that stuff!!!

ApO, WTF? Indeed, just what the fk is wrong with people?!?!?
I Am The Walrus trivia alert! The germ of the song came from a letter Lennon received from a young fan asking him how he came up with lyrics for his songs, the lad's English teacher had done a 'review' of some of the lyrics in 'Strawberry Fields Forever' and 'Sgt.Pepper' telling the whole class he thought it was just nursery rhyme style gobbledygook. This prompted Lennon to ask his old chum Pete Shotton (who was staying with John at the time as he was part of Apple Corps) ''what was that silly rhyme we used to say at school?'', one of lines of which contained 'semolina pilchard' and another contained 'yellow matter custard', so he and Pete tried to come up with something far out enough to make the lad's teacher spit his snobbish dummy out. John already had 'sitting in an English garden waiting for the sun' and 'sitting on a cornflake waiting for the van to come' as part of something else he was working on and just added stuff from the old school rhyme until he had a complete song.

Trivial goo-goo-ga-joob, innit? wobble

PS : it seems Paua and I share a birthday, I'm 56 today party

Happy Birthday Young Nij!!! Yay! partybeerbouncewoohoo

There'll be a lot of celibating in both hemispheres on this day of double equinoxeseseseses. Autumnal Oop Norf and Springnal Darn Sarf in the Auntiepodes.

We need cake. Quick, get Mrs Bobbers into Rio's cooking seat.
Tell her we have a bay cough situation.
And we need more candles, loads more candles...

I'll go and tell Battert to break open another 5 gallon flask of his finest Uzbeki Absinthe and a carton of Barrett's Sherbert Fountains.
See you in the Residents Lounge when I get back from collecting Robbopoppet.
Meanwhile, get the bunting up!

Happy Birthday Nig and Paua! Similar ages I seem to recall, maybe just a year in it!

Such celebtrations around the world!

I'm back from 7 yes 7 hours plastering! And I may do it again tomorrow and Friday!

I've been invited grape picking at my farmer pal Christian's vines on Saturday!

I literally only have to walk out of my house and turn left then walk up the track a couple of hundred meters to the vines.
His grapes look the best around this way this year, due to a very damp season with mildew! He has twice the width of space between the rows than most people and I believe the air and sun gets to them better than others vines when it's a poor season.
As usual it will be a big lunch with us all together.

That's a nawful lot of plastering Magoo, mind you a day if grape picking, drinking and eating sounds like the perfect antidote!!!

Thanks gents beer

You'll be absolutely cockahoop to know that there is indeed cake in this here household, smothered in chocolate with Cadbury's Ripple bars festooned in a rakish fashion all over it. Childish innit, but who cares, you only live twice Mr.Bond! Prezzies thrust in my general direction so far have been a Karcher jet washer so I can find out what colour the Alfa is under all the muck, some books on Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari and Alfa Romeo, a couple of bottles of wine from my two sisters and a very lonely looking Toblerone wink

Booooo
I like Autumn, and winter, provided it's cold and dry, not cold and damp.

Fish tacos for dinner, followed by rhubarb crumble and custard.
