Tell Us Something Really Trivial About Your Life Volume 37
Discussion
Good evening/morning Birthday Boys and party goers of TT
After a successful day of Robbopopping and listening to an enthralling story read by Robbopoppet, "Flans Across the River", I returned home, had a beer, and promptly fell asleep on the settee.
It may have been due to two early starts on the trot, or it could have been the 450g extra thick cut smoked and peppered 28-day aged melt-in-the-mouth tender juicy rump steaks and chips with salad that I cooked for my son-in-law and me.
Marvellous.
Thankyou once again Aldi for outstanding quality and NOM value.

We're off to Petworth today, haven't been for some time, looking forward to seeing the art and walking the grounds, there may be a spot of lunch in a pub in the village too!!
Lovely, have a nice time. If you look carefully, you might find an antique shop. We're off to Petworth today, haven't been for some time, looking forward to seeing the art and walking the grounds, there may be a spot of lunch in a pub in the village too!!

Never mind, have a nice day.
Antiques? To me, they are mostly newish stuff.
Good morning all/evening paua.
No breakfast tomorrow? I am disappoint. Never mind, there are plenty of eels in the hovercraft, I'll boil a few up and jelly them. Do you like piccalilly with yours, paua, or just vinegar and pepper? I like mine with fresh crusty bread. It makes the experience feel a bit less like eating jellied handbags.
Last night/this morning, I continued drowsing on the sofa, intermittently sipping single malt whisky and watching programmes about theoretical cosmology and the quest to find various states of neutrino in between snoozes. Despite feeling the effects of enormous inertia, I eventually staggered off upstairs to bed at around 03:20hrs with my head full of infinite knowledge about the awesome motivational power of a full bladder.
I slept the sleep of a man at ease with his place in the Universe and slightly but pleasantly pissed and I dreamed of flans across the river.
No wood this morning.

Trivial - Eve was not Adam's first wife. Twas Lilith - she ( much) later married Frasier Crane.
And Lo! It came to pass that Lilith was a bit of a slag in the eyes of the Lord. The thing that always puzzled me was the story goes that Adam and Eve were the first couple of people on God's good Earth, and they begat two sons, Cane and Abel.
So who did those two sons marry? Because there was a lot of subsequent begatting that went on afterwards and there was no mention of the Creator creating any more bits of spare.
Paua, is there really nothing for breakfast tomorrow?
Haven't your chooks been bountiful? Have you tried squeezing them?

Is there anybody out there?
"Comfortably numb is my neighbours' favourite song whether they like it or not.".
Paua, if you enjoy a bit of Floyd, this should be right up your galley:

The world needs more Keith Floyds, he's a bit like Alan Clarke, but without the fab collection of old cars or a castle! (Whether you like Clarke's politics or not his book about his cars is well worth reading )."Comfortably numb is my neighbours' favourite song whether they like it or not.".

Just finished reading a book about Ferrari 275GTBs. I want one.
Just finished reading a book about the William Towns designed Aston Martin DBS. I want one.
Just started re-reading a book about Fiat Dino Coupes and Spiders. I still want one.

"So tell me Bom, why are we visiting a boatyard?"
"Just thought we'd have a look around"
"Are you planning on actually buying anything?"
"Might buy some rope"
"Rope? What the fut for?"
"To tie something up with"
"Well, as long as it's not me. You're not seriously thinking of buying a boat are you?"
