My dear Peri.
You surprise me.

You are familiar with the "Special Knock" and Handshake, aren't you?

Just follow those procedures and say "Aunt Nellie sent me to pick up her aspidistra" and you'll be admitted straight away. wink
Last time I tried this entry ,I got it slightly wrong and instead of being let in ,the trap door operated and I spent a week

in Battert's dingy dungeon.

The vote In the Village Hall didn't go well then. Apparently villagers are opting to stick with the Co-op rather than reverting to the Home & Colonial.

If there's a fail on the vote of confidence and an election ,one hopes to be in a different country ,incommunicado and I'll

miss the whole cluster duck.

Hopefully by then I'll have done the usual and "broken" my sister's tv and so will not even be able to watch RAI news 24.

I hate to say this but I'm going to, we're fked, completely and utterly fked!!! If Corbyn gets into power he'll destroy this country, if May stays she's got no support. MP's need to realise they are supposed to represent what their constituents want, not put their own agendas above everything. As for the ignorant shower of st who keep bleating on about a people's vote or second referendum, if you'd bothered to research and then get off your ignorant arses to vote I doubt we'd be in this position in the first place!!!

Morning folks. Yes, it really is to me, I only got up 2hrs ago and I'm on my way to work.

Parliamentary bks - a clusterfk as expected.

ION - I am on my 2nd cup of tea, and I didn't feel the need to get creative with a kettle on order to achieve the desired outcome.

Unfortunately a creative kettle is to be issued to all TT 2019 members ,you have no choice in this.

We had a referendum n everything.

the vote was 90% for ,23% against.

I thought we'd stopped bringing in that dotty old lady from the local council to count votes? What was her name again, Diane Abbey or Abbott or summat?

biggrin Home & Colonial. That certainly takes me back a bit, Dicky!
I'd forgotten all about them.

Yes, what a monumentally mismanaged balls-up!
Why do they keep on about "Teresa May's Deal" as if she has been our only negotiator for the past two years? What a load of follicles!

The whole Leave /Remain choice was ill conceived from the start.

I, for one, would be quite happy to continue economic union with the EU.
No problem with a customs union, no need for 'hard borders'.

But it is the political union impinging on our sovereignty that I am opposed to.

Unaccountable faceless and unelected Eurocrats dictating laws that affect us against our best interests was becoming unacceptable to me.

Perhaps I am being too simplistic, but I cannot see why it has to be either totally 'IN' or totally 'OUT'.
Surely the Great British public could have been given a sensible choice of options.

It's not a black or white choice that we need, it's which shade of grey?

IIRC, it was the predecessor to the now defunct British Home Stores.

Edit: Nope, my memory is defunct: wobblenuts

It became "Allied".

Abcess. It's Diane Abcess. scratchchin I think Dicky will remember the conjugation of the verb.
Perhaps.

"Conjugation".

I like the sound of that.

A nice woody kind of word. cloud9

Con - ju - gate! Conjugation. Conjugal.
