I personally I would not be concerned about ,a 3 year old tyres then are usually stored fairly well e.g not outside in the sun so minimal degredation

Can see why you would pay extra to have then a little bit newer

Queue somebody saying a tyre more then 3 years old will have no handling and that they can install feel the difference with them
