Would I be right in thinking that the EU didn't try to influence us to stay? They have ginormous resources at their disposal. They seem to have remained silent with comments coming from politicians in other member countries.
Just a few of the heid bummers like Juncker wagging their finger and saying "don't do that or else". I'm eating cheese(camembert, applewood smoked and a nice stilton) and biscuits while the talking heads talk their talk and try and explain the erratic behaviour of the british voter.

Whatever the eU did or didn't do, the Leave people are doing very well.

Back to Ireland for me if they do win. Sad times.

Authoritive person: "If you leave we will punish you."
British Voter: "Fine, see if I care."

As a nation we've never responded well to being beaten with a stick, mainly through a major sense of inbuilt bloody-mindedness. Even if it's not the best option, we'll go for it because taking the better option means siding with the person/people threatening us.

Studenting for another year, but that doesn't matter. I've been in Ireland long enough that even after a year from now all I'd have to do is stay 365 consecutive days to be eligible for citizenship through naturalisation.

I have no interest in not having an EU passport.

You've got plenty of time to complete your studies no matter what the result. An IN will mean no change, an OUT will take years to finalise all the details.

I know, which is why I said the fact I'm still studying doesn't really matter.

Morning all

News over here is claiming that the Leave side has won.

Im suddenly find myself wondering how much i should hurry in visiting the UK, ive never been, and do want to see London and some parts of Scotland, not sure how them leaving the EU will impact tourism.

Buy your Pounds today. It's unlikely you'll get such a good rate for a while. Apart from that not much will change, we've always had passport checks at the airports so you won't notice a difference there.

Nah, come on in. Have a look around, buy some stuff and have a great time. Then go back home and tell all your friends how wonderful it was.

I used to be a slogan writer for the tourist board donchaknow.

Life was so much more simple then. Well, if you ignore the smallpox, typhus and the plague it could almost be seen as idyllic in some ways.

He's taken himself off on a self imposed sabbatical. A little break away can do wonders for the mind and soul.

He needs to get the soft top down on one of the wiggly roads from the start of the Italian Job. That'd blow out some of the cobwebs.
