I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover and all that, but don't think these'll be too hard to spot:

Walking the dog at lunchtime.

Just as we were going past one house the roller garage door sprang into life, up it went to show a (pristine but) empty garage.

Odd I though, as there wasn't any cars waiting to turn in.

Then rolling out from the back corner comes a little old dear on her mobility scooter, drives out and down the road.

All it needed was a smoke machine to complete the image biggrin

This should be used as an advisory notice of the perils of cutting your own hair, particularly if your eyes are pointing in opposite directions.

Sticks.

Talking about amusing names with my other half last night and her repeating the name Eric Twilly out loud until she realised what she was saying. Tickled me anyway.

Then you'll enjoy the name of the headmaster of this school - https://schooletc.co.uk/school-the-buchan-school-1...

I met him once, it was hard to keep a straight face, double barrelled names are bad enough but why choose that one?

In Aylesbury's fair town there lives a chap named Everard Dick, and he has a sister called Ophelia... These are not made up names; he's well known in police circles apparently.
