It was cool, or portrayed as such.I've always wanted to be a smoker. I think it looks so cool. But try as I might, I just can't do it. Every new year I make a resolution to take it up, and I start off fine. 20 a day on Jan 1 & 2, but it soon drops to 15, then 10, and by about the middle of Jan I've bloody given up completely. No will power, that's my trouble.
I tried patches as a way of weaning me on nicotine but they were hopeless. I'm about to try vaping. I'm hoping that can be a stepping stone to proper cigarettes.

You want to start drinking heavily too. The only times I've ever wanted to smoke have been when pissed, so have a couple of Old Peculiers at breakfast and take the day from there.I tried patches as a way of weaning me on nicotine but they were hopeless.
